  1. The Bears are so far away from being a contender. Fields can greatly accelerate that process but they need a lot. The pieces are not in place as Wanny would say
  2. Of course, why wouldn’t you want to give your rookie QB a regular season reps in a blowout?
  3. It’s a rock and a hard place. There’s a 1% chance Daltons noodle arm finds someone 15 yards downfield and maybe a 3% chance the Rams commit a penalty to give the Bears a 1st. But a FG does nothing. Also there’s the fact that it doesn’t matter because the Rams are scoring on every possession anyways
  4. The Rams are about to score for the 6th time in 7 total possessions
  5. I kind of want the Rams to score a TD as it might create a situation where Nagy gives Fields a drive
  6. Kmet is a beast. Very encouraging game for him
  7. Not sure but its the game plan as much as it is an aversion to throwing downfield. Everything is out of his hands within 3 seconds
  8. Montgomery looking like Forte out there
  9. How much are we paying Foles, Graham and Quinn to not provide any value to a Bears team that desperately needs defensive backs?
  10. Lol maybe shouldn’t have spent all offseason downgrading the secondary
  11. Huh? Just hanging in this game is a positive. Getting blown out both on offense and defense is the worst case scenario I mean that if they look terrible on offense this pushes us closer to fields starting. If they look competent but not good, Nagy is not compelled to make a move and we still lost
  12. The worst case scenario is the Bears losing but the offense looking competent enough (but not good) for Nagy to be encouraged
  13. Yeah I see him on Twitter a lot. Still going strong and is loudly banging the drum for Fields
  14. How many times in the last 10 years have we watched the Bears get absolutely pantsed on National TV? Not just a blowout but a “opponent scores on first 9 possessions, bears kick a FG” type of blowout
  15. What quarter will the Bears get their first stop in?
  16. Sometimes you expect the worst and come away pleasantly surprised. This is not one of those times.
  17. Bet this is another Nagy scoreless half
  18. Well coached team
  19. Offensive timeout early in the 1st quarter. Drink
  20. Can enjoy it for a couple hours. I can enjoy it all horsefeathering week. The Bears are expected to get smacked down so I’m not going to be upset when it happens. I too expect a blowout but will still get insanely aggravated by the Matt Nagy offensive experience
  21. Shelley? Healthy scratch? With like 3 legitimate DBs on the roster? Wtf
  22. Feels like one of those games where the offense does nothing the entire first half but the defense keeps it deceptively close but a couple of backbreaking TDs late puts the game out of reach. I’m going to say 24-10 Rams. Not sure if the Bears TD is garbage time or not
  23. But more importantly they both got game experience that they can learn from.
