The more I think about this, there are a few things that are going on here with Nagy/QB for Sunday and most of them aren't good. 1. He knows Fields is starting and is just being coy about it. The game plan was installed for him to start and was built for Fields' strengths 2. He's genuinely not sure who is starting and thus has only developed one gameplan regardless of who starts, almost certainly something similar to last week because Dalton can't run an offense that is designed to fit Fields strengths (though you could argue the inverse is true too based on last week). 3. Because Nagy knows that Fields cannot effectively run the Dalton playbook, he has designed his game plan for Sunday and either Dalton or Foles will start because they can both run that offense and Fields will be the backup. I don't see how you can have 2 separate game plans ready and have the team ready to go with each one. And maybe it's an overreaction to say Fields cant run a Dalton offense which involves staying in the pocket and making quick timing passes, but it's not his strength. It would be a disservice to start Fields and not give him the tools needed to succeed.
