Honestly its kind of amazing that the Cubs have been able to mostly tread water in the 2nd half despite our 4 best hitters completely falling off a cliff. -
Its mildly humorous that we had the bases loaded and 2 outs for the spot Shaw usually bats in.

Yeah....still unlikely to come back from 5 down with 34 to play and no H2H games left, but it's possible. It's much much more unlikely 7 down with 34 to play and no H2H games left.

Definitely thought about that,. Though this inning appears to be going quickly and Thielbar has only thrown 17 pitches. Might consider keeping him in through Yelich for the lefty matchup? That might be too much to ask.
