    Just for fun, wind on the Cubs upcoming homestand: Monday: 7mph in from RF Tuesday: 2mph crosswind/out to CF (but negligible) Wednesday: 10mph crosswind Friday: 10mph crosswind/in from LF Saturday: 9mph in from LF Sunday: 5mph crosswind Obviously wind forecasts can change drastically more than a couple days out but given the cool weather in the area all next week I'd expect a lot of winds from the north meaning wind blowing in (shockingly)

    Fangraphs playoff odds now at 99.8%, behind only the Brewers (100.0%) and Phillies (100.0%) 11 of the 12 playoff spots are occupied by a team with at least 92.6% odds and the 12th spot has a team with 82.5% chance of making it (Seattle). The highest odds someone not in a playoff spot has of making the playoffs is the Royals at 15.2%. Here is how many games up on a playoff spot each current team is: Brewers - 16.5 Phillies - 11.0 Cubs - 10.0 Dodgers - 9.0 Tigers - 8.5 Padres - 8.0 Blue Jays - 8.0 Yankees - 6.0 Mets - 5.0 Astros - 5.0 Red Sox - 4.5 Mariners - 2.0
