This is definitely a pretty memorable night in USMNT history for a variety of reasons.
-
Gotta admit this game was awesome but the horsefeathers at the end has put at least a little bit of a damper on things
-
Why are they booking Pulisic? What in the hell
-
Ugh we’re gonna be down 2 key guys on Sunday now come on
-
Dammit offside edit: nvm TRES A CERO
-
I thought they said on the broadcast that VAR was what gave him the red but I might have misheard
-
I was referring to giving of the red card edit: have no idea why that quote posted twice this board is wonky
-
horsefeathers no McKennie on Sunday. You can’t do that horsefeathers. The US ends up getting hurt more by a malicious foul against the USA
-
Send him off
-
Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen the US with a 2+ goal lead in a competitive match against a team theoretically on their level and they’re still the aggressor
-
Pulisic x2. Love the aggressiveness coming out of the locker room
-
Puli! Finished that one. cubs win and USA scores within seconds of each other
-
True, in that case I mean Americans can’t watch the USMNT game in English without paying for a crappy streaming service or pirating it
-
Morel starting to get it going again. Great to see -
Barnhart has left 4 on base in his 2 ABs but at least his catching has helped Stroman only allow 2 runs in 4 innings I guess? 1 out triple is stranded because our 8-9-1 hitters suck
-
Barnhart missed a 3 run home run by inches. Lovely
-
I still dont see how it makes sense for Americans to be able to watch Canada-Panama on cable but to watch USA-Mexico you need a premium streaming service.
-
Yes as we’ve seen from guys like Madrigal going down and immediately crushing it, then coming back up and being unable to hit it out of the infield, I’m not sure there’s a point to working on things in Iowa.
-
Fair enough...as long as he can repair the relationship with Gio (not sure how to word that since its largely not his fault) and take advantage of actually having a potential world class striker, I'm willing to not flip out over him being re-hired.
-
I'm getting really freaking worried about the rumors that Gregg is ultimately going to be the guy again. You don't turn down a job with Club America unless you are confident you are getting the job imo.
-
Confirmed, its Mervis going down sucks, I thought he was starting to put together some good ABs. Sucks that this is likely to keep Tauchman playing every day. I get his value, good defense and he's hitting in most situations, but he's not the future. Mervis might be...I'm sure he'll be up again though

Anyone else having any issues with slow loading times from desktop browsers? No issues on mobile, but if I try to go to NSBB it just sits there "thinking" for about 10-12 seconds before loading. Once it loads, there are no issues loading subsequent pages. Been happening for ~2 weeks but only now getting annoyed enough to bring it up. -
Bellinger is at Wrigley Field and expected to be in the lineup tonight

If true, this seems sub-optimal:
