    It actually doesn’t to me. On this drive Caleb was operating from the pocket as opposed to extending plays and scrambling to make something happen. Still scripted plays so maybe it breaks down after this but very encouraging drive by Caleb

    Obviously I’m not saying Ben is in any danger of being fired. I don’t think you give up on number 1 pick so early to draft a QB. Poles just signed an extension so it would be quite a surprise if they fired him anyways we’re back!

    Haha I had a feeling I was going to be called out on this. As this was happening I was watching my kid pitching and he was in the process of blowing the game while the Cubs blew a fake rally so I guess you can say I was in an “awful loss” mindset. No the loss isn’t damaging. Yes it sucks to lose a winnable game on Anthony Rizzo day when the tying run was on 3rd and winning run on 1st with no outs edit: also they put my kid in with the bases loaded 0 outs in the last inning with the top of the order due up facing 4 straight travel kids and asked him to protect a 2 run lead. He gave up 4 runs, only 1 earned but it drove me up the wall that they put him in an impossible position because they wanted to try some kid out who couldn’t even throw it over the plate and walked 4 straight batters on 16 pitches 🤬🤬🤬🤬

    Cubs now have their most wins since 2019 If they win 1 more game, they'll have their most wins since 2018 If they go 11-4, they'll have their most wins since 2016 (tied with 2018)

    True but to be fair he took a pitch that was completely in the strike zone for a ball earlier in the AB. He was probably going to strike out regardless unfortunately

    Some wonky bounces on hits by the Cubs today. If Happ wasn't slow as molasses that might have been a triple too.
