  1. Wow all that after having no one on and 2 out. Good job on Alonso Hendricks
  2. Ok now 10 missed calls against the Cubs vs 1 for the Mets. Framing or not this is terrible
  3. IF single misplayed by Nico, light looping fly ball that barely gets above Dansby and now we’re 1 spot away from Alonso in a spot to do a ton of damage
  4. Alonso alone has 10 of the Mets 14 RBIs this series
  5. I’ve posted here long enough to know I don’t really rail against the umps non-stop. Occasionally sure but not more than anyone else. I went back and looked. Umps have missed 9 ball/strike calls today. 8 of them have gone against the Cubs and 1 against the Mets
  6. Oh my god another ball called a strike to start off Happs AB
  7. Oh look 2 more clear balls called a strike to morel Sorry this is really driving me nuts.
  8. Would have been nice to have that replay call go out way. I didn’t see sufficient evidence to overturn. And of course it immediately gives them a run. im done with this series
  9. horsefeathers UMPS another inning ruined with a bad call. Come the horsefeathers on
  10. So instead of walking to make the bases loaded, we get a inning ending GIDP
  11. Another potential inning changing bad strike called
  12. I know Pat is taking this entire road trip off for a mental break or something. Not sure why our broadcasters are always taking time off these days though
  13. Also Dansby’s strikeout woes continue. 23 strikeouts in his last 51 AB (45%)
  14. 3 straight strikeouts on pitches way below the zone. That slider is giving them problems
  15. So sounds like they want to give Steele an extra day of rest between his next 2 starts. He'd be on 5 days rest if he pitches Saturday and then with 2 additional off days on Monday and Thursday, he'd have another 5 days before starting next Friday. I suppose they could insert Stroman during one of those White Sox games if he's healthy but I'm guessing he'd start next Saturday. Friday: Assad Saturday: Steele Sunday: Taillon Tuesday: Hendricks Wednesday: Assad Friday: Steele
  16. Rockies take a 6-5 lead in the 10th edit: and brewers quickly tie it back up and are in position to walk it off
  17. I just think if it’s anything hamstring related they are going to be super cautious and let it fully heal given it’s the preseason
  18. Guessing we won’t see Claypool at all in the preseason now and the best hope is Week 1 return. At least he got a couple weeks of practice in to increase his chemistry with Fields and the offense
  19. Wow thats much higher than I was expecting. I was thinking like 3/$34m or 4/$45m or something like that. I guess if his agent is good he can position this season into a huge deal, but even with this season, I don't see a ton of FA hype around him. We're talking about a guy who was non-tendered (I think) before this season and is making less than his arbitration projection. The great season will raise his value significantly but I don't think he's getting $15-20m a year. But I'm not super good at this stuff so I could be way off
