Well its the time of year again. Here is a timeline of ticket related events this week Wednesday 2/22 - Wristbands will be distributed from 11AM - 10PM Thursday 2/23 - Wristbands will be distributed from 7AM - 10PM Friday 2/24 - -6:00AM - Winning wristband number is announced on WGN 720 -8:00AM - Tickets go on sale at Wrigley Field -10:00AM - Tickets go on sale online and through 1-800-THE-CUBS (1-866-652-2827 for out of state residents) -10:30AM - White Sox series likely sold out Saturday 2/25 - Tickets go on sale at Tickets.com outlets such as the Chicagoland Sports Authority Stores and the Tribune Store (located at 435 N. Michigan Ave) So in the interim, the topic will be: who is planning on getting wristbands, what games are people trying to get tickets for, what do you think will be the most popular series this year with no major series (other then the White Sox) jumping out (a la Red Sox last year) I'll be getting my wristband, hoping to get within 500 of the winning number like last year. In what may be unpopular to some here, I plan on buying my max share of tickets, and sell some of them to break even with the games I plan to goto. My target series are in Cards series (especially April), SF series in September (history in the making?) and of course the White Sox series.
