    Thats what I thought of this signing; a right-handed version of Walker. I don't feel particularly bad about this signing, but not particularly great either. At best: Todd Walker with the ability to play 6 positions, and at least playing a couple of them above average. At worst: Neifi Perez with the ability to play OF

    Wisconsin hasn't beat a team with less than 4 losses all year. You can only play the teams on your schedule. Their BCS ranking would normally qualify for a BCS game. The BCS takes SoS into account. I don't know what else to tell you. I understand what you're saying but they should at least play one BCS school team. They scheduled Bowling Green, Western Illinois, SD State and Buffalo. Plus, Syracuse can't even schedule Buffalo because teams like Auburn and Wisconsin offer them too much money according to the Buffalo AD. Exactly. Nothing against Wisconsin, but you need to schedule some good teams if you want to get BCS consideration. This isn't the NFL where you have little to no effect on the schedule that you play. This is the kinda thing that killed Kansas State for years.

    If Michigan wins, doesn't that help ND's SOS even more, even though they lost? I don't think the computers take into account rematches. BTW, I am now kinda hoping for a rematch in the NC game. I remember how fun it was in 1996 with FSU and Florida

    For some reason, they moved the Giants/Titans game to the 4:15 slot as well. Both of those games feature road NFC teams, meaning they will both be on Fox. I don't see why they'd want to put both of those games on the late broadcast. Maybe since the Jets are doing decent they want to separate the times of the teams games so that they can get a wider viewing audience for each? Thats my best guess.

    Good question...my guess is that it would be placed at the spot of the kick, not a safety. Reason being, if a player on the opposing team managed to get a finger on the kick and it ended up resulting in a missed FG that bounced out of the back of the end zone it would not be a safety.

    Yes, Wikipedia is great....except I wonder how long it would take them to catch it if I added that Ted Washington also returned a missed FG for a TD thanks to excellent blocking by Mr. T and the rest of the A team.

    No, I read somewhere that if he didn't attempt to return it and took a knee, the Bears would have gotten it at the 42 as if he didn't catch it. But once he tried to return it, he ran the risk of taking it wherever he was tackled. That's why the Giants were walking off the field, because they assumed that the Bears were going to accept the good field position and not even dare attempt a return.

    I love how one coach can "own" another with only 5 games played.     As fun as a week in Jersey City is....I think they will stick to the comfort of Lake Forest. Why not be treated like Demi-Gods strolling the affluent neighborhoods of the North Suburbs?

    I could care less what kinda 'respect' Michigan gets. They can get all the respect that they want on Saturday afternoon.

    They don't spend enough time on these articles. They basically see a FA, and predict where they go. They don't take time to look at each individual teams, their situations, etc. If the Cubs only got those guys, fans would literally burn Jim Hendry at the stake.

    Just read on NFL.com that the Bears/Patriots game has been changed to a 3:15 CST start on FOX. NBC will pick up the Eagles/Colts game for their SNF game.

    I think we are hurtling towards 13-3 at the worst. That should lock up the #1 seed. Basically we need to go 5-2 the rest of the season at Jets - Pretty good shot at a win at Pats - Tough game, could lose vs. Vikings - Should win this one at Rams - On MNF in a dome, could be a loss vs. Bucs - Should be a win at home at Lions - No reason we can't win vs. Packers - Only thing that puts doubt in my mind is Favres last game, but the way things seem to be heading, he'll be back next year Thats 5-2, for a 13-3 record

    I'm actually a little surprised that Michigan didn't jump OSU in the BCS standings. Oh well, what's one more week of waiting ;) BTW, other then Mark R, who are the resident Buckeye fans on this board?
