  1. The O-line is old and bad
  2. How many plays until Rex rushes a bad throw and its returned for a TD
  3. And Mike Brown calls it a season
  4. Barring a TO here, this ones over.
  5. Awful matchup for Benson or AP, they have little chance. Awful matchup for any RB
  6. 1. DET 1-0 2. MIN 1-0 3. GB 1-0 4. CHI 0-1
  7. I don't see our offense doing anything this game. I think this one is over. Oh well...Cubs lose, Bears lose, Brewers win, Cardinals win. Not a great day.
  8. Positives: -Defense looked great all around. Front 4 getting decent pressure and stopping the run. LBs all over the field. Secondary is decent considering who they are playing against. -Special teams, good coverage, decent punting, Hester has played it smart. Also a blocked FG which is the difference. -Benson has played pretty good despite not breaking off any great runs -Berrian has been all over the field in the first half. Negatives: -Offensive line. I know the front line of the Chargers is awesome, but it shouldn't be this evident. The only good run Benson had was created almost entirely by him. -Grossman is looking like a mental midget. I really want to like him, but he just does stuff like randomly dropping the ball just kills me. The INT wasn't his fault really but the fumble definitely was. -Berrian please don't give up on your routes -Recievers other than Berrian....where are you?
  9. He was in for one play. He wasn't thrown towards, but Grossman had no time, so its unclear if it was a decoy or a play designed for him.
  10. LT: 9 carries, -1 yards
  11. It's the feature that requires you to preview posts that were made while you were trying to make a post. It can take five attempts before it actually takes your post. Oh, I could have told you that would have been a problem in the preseason hah.
  12. What are the problems? Did Steve Trachsel mess up WCF too??
  13. I'm telling you, there was some deadarm issues with Marshall. It's the only thing that makes sense.
  14. Well to his credit it is the 9th inning with 2 outs and the pitcher is on deck so he pretty much has to try to hit a HR here
  15. I've been wanting to use that nickname for Soriano for 2 weeks and I finally do and he crushes a HR
  16. I could have told you that. The only way that they make the playoffs is if they randomly get hot like they did in June. But even then, it would only be a mirage as this team just isn't that good. No team in the central is good though and any team no matter how good or bad they are can get hot over 20 games. The division is still up for grabs. That team looks to be the Brewers If they do that's going to give them confidence to really be a dangerous team for years to come. They can flat out rake. Yup and considering that state the Cubs franchise will be in this offseason, this might be the first year since 2002 where I have no hope of competing before the season starts.

  19. Marshall is obviously hurt Paulino struck out swinging No I think that he has a dead arm from pitching a lot of innings. The Cubs wanted to rest his arm a bit and get a veteran in there that has dealt with playoff races. The logic is there, but I would never agree with the decision.
  20. Oh well...i honestly wasn't enjoying this playoff race anyways
  21. I asked you to do one thing when you came back to the Cubs Steve, and that was to not tarnish the memory of your 1998 Wild Card Playoff game. And look what you've freaking done.
  22. Also glad we threw him in the rotation despite having worse numbers than all of our other starters!
  23. And we're looking at second place if the scores hold up
