Complacency. 3 up w/ 6 to go. "We got this in the bag." Let's see how they fight back tomorrow when its (most likely) 2 up w/ 5 to go. If indeed they're playing poorly because they're complacent, that falls on Lou and nobody else. I doubt that the Cubs are thinking that way. First of all, this knows it has had to fight for everything this year. Second of all, the Cubs are smart enough to know that clinching earlier gives them a chance to not only set up their rotation, but to get complacient the last 2-3 games of the season.

Exactly. He's not pitching well. If he was at most parks, he'd have given up 3-4 home runs. (the 2 Hermida doubles, the Olivo almost HR, and the Cabrera 400 ft out)

The other thing that sucks about potentially losing is that it it makes it longer for us to clinch meaning that it messes up a potential playoff rotation. Ideally you'd want Z and Lilly to pitch twice in a 5 game series, but instead you might see Rich Hill and Jason Marquis do so

If we lose tonight and the Brewers win, we're still up 2 games with 5 to go. I don't understand why people are freaking out so much. The game is only in the 3rd inning. Because the next 2 games are Marquis and Trachsel. Meanwhile the Brewers have Brad Thompson and Matt Cassel or something from a hobbled SD. We could easily be tied going into our last series
