  1. 4 more freaking outs, thats all we needed. I hate this. I can't say I hate this team because they have the best record in baseball. But I hate this.
  2. Screw this, I'm not staying up for extras. This could be a long weekend.
  3. I'm a natural pessimist, so my pessimism is flowing through this thread. That said, this just feels like a game we should be/eventually will lose.
  4. For my sanity Dodgers, please don't hit the ball to left. I'd rather you get a double to RF than hit anything to Soriano.
  5. Soriano never was, Fontenot, not really either. Ugh, I hate when the most predictable thing happens in situations that we need some runs. This is really setting up for a 2007-like loss, I dunno if it'll actually happen though. His IsoD is not too shabby (Fontenot)
  6. And ball 4. I miss when this team was patient
  7. what happened to the 325 innings you were talking about earlier? Leave me to be bipolar.
  8. I wonder if Fontenot paid attention to the last batter that walked on 4 pitches.
  9. Fontenot better come through or else he wasted Marmol in a close game.
  10. I can't wait until Marmol gets drilled and injures his pitching arm.
  11. I don't remember that game at all. I was gonna say the game where Kerry pulled up lame in '04. That was the beginning of the end for Kerry as a starter. You know why that game is significant though, right? I feel dumb, why? Look at the bottom of the 7th. Wow I don't remember this game at all, and it seems like it was a really painful loss Weird Haha, you're completely not getting this. The Cubs actually won the game, but look at the game log in the bottom of the 7th. Or just look at the box score of the Cubs offense and you might get it. Are we talking about the same game? This is the game where Wood got injured: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/LAN/LAN200405110.shtml Here is the bottom of the 7th: Bottom of the 7th, Dodgers Batting, Ahead 7-2, Francis Beltran facing 6-7-8 Francis Beltran replaces Tom Goodwin pitching and batting 9th O --- 2 99% J Encarnacion Foul Popfly: 1B (1B Foul) O --- 5 98% J Grabowski Groundout: SS-1B --- 4 99% A Cora Single to SS (Ground Ball) 1-- 1 99% J Weaver Single to RF (Line Drive to RF Line); Cora to 3B O 1-3 4 98% C Izturis Strikeout Swinging 0 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors, 2 LOB. Cubs 2, Dodgers 7.
  12. What is your annoying Dodger Stadium moment? Mine would have to be a recent one: http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/LAN/LAN200705250.shtml
  13. What a surprise, the Cubs fail to have a quality start
  14. Wow, Jason Marquis is on the mound tonight? 3-0 to the first 3 batters in the inning. Results? Out, HR, walk
  15. Nothing like blowing a 4 run lead potentially.
  16. Dempster doesn't want to make the All Star team.
  17. Oh man....is this the real Soto? Or was April the real Soto?
  18. How the mighty have fallen, Fuku is INT walked to face Soto. Hit a gapper and make him pay Geo...
  19. Hopping high in the air doesn't get you into first quicker Aram :)
  20. Maybe Geo needs to sit more. More of a 5 on 2 off rather than a 14 on 1 off like he is now.
