  1. It's official, Soriano and Lee are hitting the same (.295)
  2. Put this in the "could have won" category if we lose.
  3. Smart move batting Johnson against a righty. I hate stupid Jim Edmonds, but he should be hitting right now.
  4. Wow, I really wasn't even paying attention to this inning, just assuming that Marmol would finish them off with ease.
  5. Fontenot's batting 2nd in the bottom half I believe But you don't want Reed batting against a righty do you?
  6. I meant if Marte leaves....Jim Edmonds should be hitting for Reed
  7. If Marte stays in...Jim Edmonds walkoff?
  8. Why the hell is he sliding? As someone said here, terrible fundamental day for the Cubs
  9. Why the hell is Fukudome bunting in the first place. We're paying him $12 million to freaking give up outs and bunt?
  10. It's still an extremely small sample size. Marmol should come in for the 9th if the Cubs don't score here. He has only pitched once since last Sunday so he should be good for 2 innings.
  11. Marmols situational usage: May 14th. Came in up by 4, pitched 2 innings May 11th. Came in up by 2, pitched 1 inning May 10th. Came in up by 5, pitched 1 inning May 9th. Came in up by 2, pitched 1 inning May 6th. Came in up by 6, pitched 2 innings
  12. Imagine how much more awesome that would have been if Cedeno's hit got down. Marmol in?
  13. .289/.324/.587/.911 is Soriano's line this year now.
  14. For anyone that cares, the Cardinals have put a 4 spot on the board in the 5th and lead the Rays 7-3. Still batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs.
  15. I'm kinda impressed with Eyre so far. In 2006 he was our setup guy. He might be better suited for full innings if he keeps this up
  16. Well theres a difference between your All Star $15 million ace against the 5th place Pirates and a rookie making his first major league start against the best team record wise in the NL.
  17. Pitchers not covering first in time...what is this, 2005?
  18. Would a big part be considered him not entering the game and thus hurting us?
  19. Lol maybe you should start a "Get Lee off this team" thread. Hell no. I know he'll get hot. I'm 100% on DLee's side. I'm just point out how bad his slump has gotten. It's been like 3 years since the last time DLee's avg was below .300 this late in the season.
  20. If Fukudome didn't have a high OBP, I'd call him 4-3, because it seems like that's all he does.
