    Blah, Soto is starting to slump. .178 (5-28) in his last 8 games. He's a good hitter though, so I'm sure he'll snap out of it.

    HAHAHAHA The Reds have now used 23 of their 25 players.

    Only the Cubs could go 2-4 in a 6 game span but outscore their opponents 33-25 during the stretch.

    Sure, theres no salary cap, but if we end up with an owner without the deep pockets of the Trib, dont expect to see any big signings for a very, very long time. If that happens, we will have issues in the future regardless of the Soriano contract unless we hire the next Billy Beane. Not necessarily. We just have to hire a GM that doesn't throw money at all his problems and worry about the consequences later.

    Good, it will match the fact that our entire bullpen is about to go on the DL with arm injuries.

    Probably because its almost June and they are right there with us. That and some of us dont think we are as invincible as our record indicates. Maybe if our number 2 starter didn't have an ERA in the mid 5's I'd feel a little better

    how did you feel a week ago When he was hot? I still didn't like him. Someone described h im as Pre 1998 Sammy Sosa, and that thought has stuck with me. An OK player to have on the team I guess, but nothing we can't live without.
