  1. I think like half the hits Kerry has given up this year have been BS. Probably happens when you are serving up 96 MPH fastballs and people get lucky wood on them.
  2. Man that was such a bad trade for the Cubs /sarcasm
  3. HAHAHAHAHA I can't decide it Marmol decided pitching with the bases empty was too easy, or if Marmol didn't feel good about Kerry Wood pitching to the heart of the Dodgers order so he took care of them himself.
  4. Who had the worst tenure with the Cubs: Jim Edmonds (3-24, 0 HR, 0 RBI) Rob Bowen (2-31, 0 HR, 2 RBI) Koyie Hill (15-93, 2 HR, 12 RBI) Damian Jackson (1-15, 1 HR, 1 RBI) Rey Rnez (10-61, 1 HR, 5 RBI)
  5. Edmonds 3-24 as a Cub (.125). Based on Lou's comments today, I honestly think he's gone after this series.
  6. This rant was made in a tie game in the 7th inning, with runners on first and third, 2 outs, a full count and the Cubs cleanup hitter batting.
  7. It's just a tough night. The Cubs are hitting the ball really well tonight, its just horrible conditions for hitting pretty much anything in the air.
  8. Wow, Tommy is like talking to Ron Santo 10 years from now.
  9. I don't think strike 2 was a strike. Strike one was.
  10. It's not fair that it seems like the only 2 people to come up with multiple runners on tonight are Fontenot (3 times) and Edmonds. Oh yeah Soto did once.
  11. Theriot's Grit average falls to a lowly .438 with that botched sac bunt.
  12. Geez, so many other players could have done that.
  13. I know its been said it previous starts, and yes the bottom line is results, but he did give up a few hard hit balls killed by the wind. Maybe thats him pitching to the conditions, or maybe he's getting lucky. Who knows.
  14. GOD THERIOT YOU SU- oh wait that was Cedeno.
  15. Wow, thats a home run for 75 of the 81 home games a year.
  16. Walks last 8 games: 1 3 3 7 4 2 2 3 BB/Game: 3.13 BB/Game April: 4.85 Hopefully its just a fluke trend
  17. 3-22 as a Cub (.136) I think its safe to say this is going worse than even the most pessimistic fans predicted.
  18. Sure would be nice to have a run producer hitting 6th in the lineup.
  19. Yay 2 on 1 out. Oh wait, the hit and run, which seems to work 50% of the time for the Cubs, fails again!
