Funny how baseball works. Soriano goes 2-2 in his first 2 ABs today and nothing comes of it. His third time up he gets out with 2 on base and suddenly its looking like a bad game.

I think pickoffs should be considered Caught Stealings. I look at Sorianos 16 for 17 rate on stolen bases a know its a huge sham.

Well the Cubs are certainly doing the "get to 5 innings really quickly" thing well, but they've neglected to do that "score a run or two" thing.

I expect only the worst when Marquis is pitching. I had to leave my desk for 5 minutes and assumed that he gave up a couple of runs and was pleasantly surprised to see a 1-2-3 inning.
