Canario was called up to start September and was on the team all except for 2 days and is hitting .364. Clearly he led the Cubs to the playoffs right? -
Cubs fail to get a runner from 3rd home with 1 out, drink the person who failed was Dansby, finish your beer but it wasn’t a strikeout so umm…take a hit of your joint?

Obviously I’m rooting for the Marlins to have to fly to NYC on Monday to finish us off, however unlikely it is, but I guess a good outcome of being eliminated tonight is we can let PCA start and play a full game tomorrow without pressure of taking key meaningful ABs

This is probably one of those stats that needs more context around it before you can knock a QB for it right? Like on its own, especially in college with 3 man rushes and stuff, time to throw doesn't mean slow to process. But if slow to process is a concern then time to throw can be used as evidence to support this concern. -

From 76-64 to 82-78 But hey just need the Marlins to lose their next 2 games, Cubs to win their next 2 and then the Mets have a 9th inning comeback on Monday and we’re in!

We peaked at 4.5 games above the playoff cut line, 93% chance to make the playoffs per FanGraphs.

Crazy that this team entered the final 6 games with a 1 game lead and if it wasn't for a torrential downpour they'd be eliminated with 2 games left to play. That's sort of impressive in a way.
