  1. McNabb's looked meh the last 2 games, Westbrook's status I believe is up in the air as well. McNabb looked meh in Dallas? I'll take "Meh" McNabb over Orton every week... But yeah, this game scares me more than the Colts game did. I don't know what I was thinking, I got fantasy Donovan mixed up with real life Donovan in my mind. He wasn't great but he was good against Dallas. Also, McNabb didn't pick apart the Bears last year when we beat him. Again, he was decent but not good or great (21-34, 226 yards, 1 TD)

  3. Does anyone else realize that the Bears defense is about 100 times more effective when they are attacking vs. when they are playing prevent style defense? I can think of several games over the past few where the Bears D looked really good until they got a big lead and stopped blitzing. Granted the D-line was awful yesterday regardless, but its a trend that everyone should know about the Bears by now. The comparisons to the 05 defense can stop. If this D has any comparison, its more similar to the 06 defense. Gives up a ton of yards, but also forces a ton of TOs. Can step up and play dominating defense on occasion.
  4. Bears 17 Eagles 13 Everyone starts wondering how the Bears can move the rest of their games to Sunday night. Book it.
  5. Someone talked about how if an otherwise mediocre team caught a couple of breaks, they can go 9-7 or 10-6 and make the playoffs, well those were our breaks this year. Starting out 3-0 would have given us an excellent shot at the playoffs. Starting 1-2 with 2 vs. GB, 2 vs. Min, Phi, NO, Jacksonville, etc left on the schedule is not good.
  6. You should probably get rid of the Cubs avatar then, as having the Brewers avatar on your posts hasn't helped them out much this month :)
  7. They hold us by the balls as well. As I'm sure everyone knows, we need the Brewers to stay in this race until Sunday so the Mets and/or Phillies can throw Johan/Hamels and give us a much better chance of winning the series.
  8. You just proved that your prediction is not very bold :)
  9. 2 years? It took 2 games...
  10. right now yes....but the Phils are only 1 game up on the mets and the mets hold the division tie breaker
  11. You're absolutely right. There is no way the MLB would make them replay it for HFA
  12. If the Bears don't score to end this half, their offense would have produced 6 points in the last 6 quarters on Drives of more than 25 yards. Last week: 7 points on a blocked punt 7 points after an INT was returned to the 25 3 points on a long scoring drive This week: 3 points after the D handed them the ball at the 15 yard line and they go 0 yards and kick a FG 3 points after a long scoring drive
  13. I remember Rashied Davis having a catch.
  14. Really? You don't think Grossman would have 2 INTs while hes running all around the field because the O-line is awful?
  15. More like Calib
  16. That was pretty bad for Orton, but a lot of that was on the O-line yet again. I feel better, I knew that the O-line would be bad, and that this is the reason the Bears would be bad in 2008. The O-line is bad, and the Bears season is going downhill. Go Cubs!
  17. Bears O-Line is showing its true colors with today's pass protection
  18. Will the Cubs be wearing an "I" on their caps?
  19. Actually despite the fact that they were horrible, I went to a few games down the stretch in 2006 and they were fun. It really was just the true fans left. Everyone was really bitter, but since it was September and was no longer cool to be at the game, the crowd was fun. I went to that Dodgers game where Bynum had like 4 errors in the first 3 innings.
  20. Someone offered me a free ticket to the game. At first I said no because I wanted to watch the Bears game. Then I watched the Bears offense for a quarter and called them back and accepted.
  21. Unbelievable. Can't even be mad with anyone there
  22. Well they built the team to dominate on defense and get an offense thats good enough to get into the red zone occasionally.
  23. Bad drive for the defense.
