  1. And the Bears won't be making the playoffs in 2008. 9-7 is ok I guess
  2. Seattle fans say hi. Chicago is one of the best sports cities in Chicago and each team except the Blackhawks have been successful this decade. It's just been a miserable year with the Cubs and Bears in 2008. Maybe successful in terms of making the playoffs I guess Bulls have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 1 playoff series Cubs have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 1 playoff series Bears have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 2 playoff series and advanced to one championship game Blackhawks have made the playoffs in 1/8 seasons this decade and won 0 playoff series So Chicago teams are 10/32 in making the playoffs and are 4/14 in winning playoff series this decade and have advanced to 1 title game and won 0 championships this decade. That's far from a successful decade by any measure. I think the White Sox won the super cup or something like that. I think it was 2005. LOL, normally I leave them out of these discussions on purpose, but in this case I completely forgot about them :(
  3. Oakland is still beating the Bucs with a minute left. We would need an onside recovery, a TD and an Eagles win.
  4. The Vikings have won the NFC North
  5. Vikings attempting a 50 yard FG for the NFC North right now...
  6. Last onside I remember recovering is in 2001 against the Browns.
  7. If it makes you feel better, the Vikings are about to take the lead over the Giants.

  9. Handoff to the FB just to come full circle!!!
  10. WOW. Carolina blows a 30-13 lead and is trailing NO, and Atlanta blew a 24-14 lead and is losing to STL
  11. 36 to 20 It's like the 3rd or 4th week in a row that we've been absolutely killed on TOP. This team has actually played some of its worst football in the last month or so. And I don't think it can be attritubed to the offense this time. I put the blame squarely on the defense for not being able to get off the field. It's both. You can't think all of the really short 3-5 play possessions didn't contribute.
  12. 19-6-7 Yeah great Chicago can boast of 33 games of good hockey. Maybe we can make the playoffs for the first time in 7 years
  13. Ironically, the Texans execute a squib kick. If we just kicked it off to Atlanta we'd be division champs and this wouldn't matter

  15. Updated: Texans last 6 possessions: Touchdown Touchdown Touchdown Punt Field Goal Touchdown
  16. This was probably the most painful way to possibly lose a game, save the Falcons game.
  17. LOL. Instead of 4th down and a FG its 1st and goal. I love it
  18. That's what I'm saying. His elbow was probably down but there is no way you can conclude that based on the evidence we got.
  19. Oakland is beating TB again LOL
  20. That's the rule, but they never actually make the calls based on that. It's really stupid and one of my biggest pet peeves about the NFL
  21. This is going to be another play where there is inconclusive evidence but they will overturn it anyways.
  22. Minnesota TD 19-17 Giants
  23. Texans last 6 possessions: Touchdown Touchdown Touchdown Punt Field Goal About to score again
  24. Might as well just let them score so we can have enough time for 2 scores
  25. And that's the Bears season.
