Apparently the roof is open at Reliant Stadium and it was raining just a little while ago. Reliant Stadium supposedly has a very poor drainage system, so there is a chance that the conditions on the field will be sloppy. That would obviously be a good thing for the Bears.

I find the 3-9 in our last 12 home playoff games dating back to 1989 mark to be even more amazing -
Man I can't stop thinking about this game, I am pumped for it. I have already braced myself for the fact that the Bears odds of ending the day in a playoff spot aren't great, but just for this team to be alive for a playoff spot with the last week of the season, this is what sports is all about. It's just unbelievable to me that this Bears team that I had going 4-12 in August is a win away from a 10-6 season. I know the Bears probably aren't as good as their record, but I will not let that make me enjoy the season any less. What's everyone doing for the game?

If true, that kinda sucks. It contradicts what more reputable writers have said this offseason (for one Bruce Miles), but it does explain why things are so quiet. I wonder if something has changed between the start of the winter meetings and now. I don't think the Cubs can win it with last year's roster - Wood.
