  1. Well that Eagles/Cowboys game will decide a playoff spot. That's fun.
  2. BTW, if we would have avoided the squib kick in Atlanta, we would have already clinched a playoff spot.
  3. Seattle fans say hi. Chicago is one of the best sports cities in Chicago and each team except the Blackhawks have been successful this decade. It's just been a miserable year with the Cubs and Bears in 2008. Maybe successful in terms of making the playoffs I guess Bulls have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 1 playoff series Cubs have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 1 playoff series Bears have made the playoffs in 3/8 seasons this decade and have won 2 playoff series and advanced to one championship game Blackhawks have made the playoffs in 1/8 seasons this decade and won 0 playoff series So Chicago teams are 10/32 in making the playoffs and are 4/14 in winning playoff series this decade and have advanced to 1 title game and won 0 championships this decade. That's far from a successful decade by any measure. Who cares about the playoffs? It's about championships. We know about the Cubs. The Bears have one 1 championship in like 40 years The Sox have one 1 championship in like 50+ years The Blackhawks haven't win since...I don't know because I don't really follow them...but its been a long while. Thank goodness for MJ. The Cubs haven't won in 100 years (longest drought in the MLB) The Bears have won 1 championship in the last 45 years (and its been 23 years since their last) The Sox have won 1 championship in the last 91 years. The Blackhawks haven't won in 47 years (longest drought in the NHL) The Bulls haven't won in 10 years
  4. LOL Tommie was trying to jump the snap. When times were going well like in 2006, he would have gotten it perfectly timed and sacked the QB, but it just looks embarrassing now.
  5. And the Bears won't be making the playoffs in 2008. 9-7 is ok I guess

That's far from a successful decade by any measure. I think the White Sox won the super cup or something like that. I think it was 2005. LOL, normally I leave them out of these discussions on purpose, but in this case I completely forgot about them :(
  7. Oakland is still beating the Bucs with a minute left. We would need an onside recovery, a TD and an Eagles win.
  8. The Vikings have won the NFC North
  9. Vikings attempting a 50 yard FG for the NFC North right now...
  10. Last onside I remember recovering is in 2001 against the Browns.
  11. If it makes you feel better, the Vikings are about to take the lead over the Giants.

  13. Handoff to the FB just to come full circle!!!
  14. WOW. Carolina blows a 30-13 lead and is trailing NO, and Atlanta blew a 24-14 lead and is losing to STL
  15. 36 to 20 It's like the 3rd or 4th week in a row that we've been absolutely killed on TOP. This team has actually played some of its worst football in the last month or so. And I don't think it can be attritubed to the offense this time. I put the blame squarely on the defense for not being able to get off the field. It's both. You can't think all of the really short 3-5 play possessions didn't contribute.
  16. 19-6-7 Yeah great Chicago can boast of 33 games of good hockey. Maybe we can make the playoffs for the first time in 7 years
  17. Ironically, the Texans execute a squib kick. If we just kicked it off to Atlanta we'd be division champs and this wouldn't matter

  19. Updated: Texans last 6 possessions: Touchdown Touchdown Touchdown Punt Field Goal Touchdown
  20. This was probably the most painful way to possibly lose a game, save the Falcons game.
  21. LOL. Instead of 4th down and a FG its 1st and goal. I love it
  22. That's what I'm saying. His elbow was probably down but there is no way you can conclude that based on the evidence we got.
  23. Oakland is beating TB again LOL
  24. That's the rule, but they never actually make the calls based on that. It's really stupid and one of my biggest pet peeves about the NFL
  25. This is going to be another play where there is inconclusive evidence but they will overturn it anyways.
