    Michigan went from a 15 point lead to a 6 point lead (and clemson ball) in about 2:30 because they are jacking up 3's with 25 seconds left on the shot clock...like 3-4 possessions in a row. Seriously where is the coaching and execution??

    Ugly half, but at least Michigan is winning. I thought Clemson would come out a lot stronger than they actually did, so I am pleasantly surprised, although like someone said if they could make a jumpshot they'd be up big. Will be interesting to see what adjustments they make. Maybe they will double Manny and hopefully open the lane for Sims.

    Clemson shooting 4-18 so far, but already has 9 offensive rebounds. 9...in the first 9 minutes of the game!

    Michigans looks horrible so far. They have major jitters. 4 air balls so far I've counted.

    In terms of seeding, it would be tied with the other 4 #15 seeds that beat #2 seeds. I'm not sure how to determine which 15 seeds were better than the others.

    ESPN was discussing yesterday that the Peavy trade is still very possible, and one of the analysts on the show said that he expects Peavy to be a Cub on June 1. He also said that indications are that Ricketts wouldn't have a problem adding payroll to the team if it is feasible and it will help the Cubs win.

    Oklahoma losing in the second round isn't too stupid, imo. They have one awesome player, one pretty good player, and a whole lotta nothing. I'm not that high on Michigan, though. I really wanted to pick Oklahoma to lose early. I had them tabbed as a second round loser before the tournament. I just don't trust Michigan or Clemson. I'd say Clemson would be more likely to beat them, but I'm not picking a team that finished the way they did. I also don't like Syracuse, Arizona State or Temple much either. So I'm left with Oklahoma in the Elite Eight -- which I still doubt happens. Oh well. I just know that Michigan has that "happy to be there" outlook. They don't want to but sometimes when you've already exceeded your wildest expectations, its hard to avoid. I hope I'm wrong though.

    Blah, the first 3 games seem pretty boring for casual fan purposes. A 2-15 matchup and two 8-9 matchups, and only the LSU-Butler game mildly intrigues me.

    Just think...if the Bears could have executed for 11 seconds in Atlanta we'd be talking about all five Chicago teams in the playoffs within a 6 month period. Don't think that's ever happened.

    At least we are still better than last year. Last year at this point the Hawks were 33-30-7. Now they are 37-22-11. That's 4 more wins, 8 less lossses and 4 more OTL's. Essentially if you could OTL's as regular losses, the Hawks are 4 games better than last years team at this point.

    oh, are they in the tournament? i seem to recall someone predicting that they would be. Good call...but it definitely didn't work out as you would have expected. There were some moments where it looked like they were done. But, yes you were right and deserve props.

    uh, #8 and this isn't even close. Michael Barrett wasn't that good dude... Dude, he punched out AJ. Stats don't matter, he is revered by fans forever for that.

    I hope Michigan doesn't have the same attitude as I do regarding their game tomorrow. I was so nervous for Selection Sunday all week last week. When their name was announced I felt so much relief. But strangely enough, I am not getting that pumped up for this game. I feel like I'm getting the dreaded "just happy to be there" feeling. I definitely won't be upset if Michigan loses...this season has already greatly exceeded even my wildest expectations.

    Ugh, still 19 more days until opening day, 26 days until baseball at Wrigley. This Spring Training has gone on FOREVER.
