  11. Wasn't it a ground out to Fox at first, 3-1? Actually you are right, it was 3-1, he flipped to the pitcher.

  16. I can give it for like 2 innings and then I have to go.
  17. Yeah, like I said I have no knowledge of the situation, but I doubt the Cubs would fly up Bradley and Lee to Las Vegas just to play in one Spring game, especially with the way Lou has operated this spring. That meaning, he isn't concerned with getting his starters in as many games as possible.
  18. Haha, we could use a pinch runner as long as the Dodgers pick up 100% of his contract and we only have to give them a bag of baseballs. Nah, nevermind. I don't want to waste the 40 man roster spot on him.
  19. I am assuming its ok to start the game thread. Sox and Cubs continue their Spring Training series in Las Vegas. Aaron Heilman will take the bump for the Cubs in his next chance to compete for the 5th starters spot. Jeff Marquez goes for the Sox. Len and Bob will call it on WGN TV, while the game is also available on the Score 670 AM with White Sox announcers Farmer and Singleton (I think?). Not sure if the players who were at the SS in Arizona yesterday are going to come up to Las Vegas to play, I would assume not, so expect to see many of the same players that played yesterday. How fun.
  20. Isn't it his brother reporting this? I'm not saying its not true, but lets wait a bit before we can confirm this as fact. Poor Yankees (not)
  21. 0-0 with 4 BB for Fukudome. Wow, he must love being back in the Far East where 2 seam fastballs are only a myth.
  22. I understand, but there isn't too many good places to talk Hawks (other than here), and it's kind of fun to read those posters. 300 level? They remind me a lot of NSBB, and that's not entirely a good thing.
  23. Guzman not making a good case to remain on the Cubs.
  24. I think they played Seattle recently. That doesn't make sense, unless the Mariners have spring training in Japan. Well Seattle isn't all that far from Japan :)
