He looks just like he did in the first inning, but the Rockies stopped swinging at it. Nah, he was hitting the strike zone in inning 1...at least consistently enough to get them swinging at pitches outside the zone.

Good choice to run Lou you idiot. I'm seriously sick of running into outs with the middle of the order up. Even if it is a weakened middle of the order you are talking about your 5 and 6 hitters coming up. And you are running on a 2 strike count.

Why not? I'm not saying I necessarily think they should be number 1, but I certainly don't think its out of the realm of debate at all. -
You were sitting in RF right? I was sitting there in the first row talking to Pujols on that day as well. He signed a ball for my friend, and talked to us about the new Cardinals stadium, the All Star game deciding HFA among other things. We also had some convos with Skip Schumacher, who no one knew at the time and David Eckstein.
