  1. Or we're injury depleted and they are the defending SB champs. Why can't we get ANY ANY ANY pass rush on 3rd and long?
  2. Lovie demanded more takeaways this game And if we had stripped the ball out so far we'd be praising it. Bend but don't break is the philosophy remember.
  3. ~117 yards of total offense for the Steelers in the first quarter vs. 11 for the Bears.
  4. Interesting change of game plan from last game. Instead of all the passes going to the wideouts 10-15 yards down the field, now they are going over the middle or to the sidelines. Either way it doesn't matter with the Steelers defense and our offense.
  5. If we thought our good defense looked bad when it was tired, imagine how our bad defense will look gassed.
  6. They sold out on the run Manning was trailing him the entire time. The fat TE just outran him because he's a pathetic defender. He also had to eye the QB once he rolled out in case he scrambled. But once it was clear that the TE was the only one going out for a pass in that area he should have been all over him.
  7. Here comes the pressure + trying to do too much + INT
  8. I miss you Urlacher. First and goal from the 8
  9. They are throwing a lot of balls to the flats and getting YAC's moving the ball down the field quickly. (Steelers that is...bears went 3 and out)
  10. This game is gonna be a blow out. They are moving the ball with ease.
  11. John Shoop offense back again?
  12. The Packers are definitely better than they are playing right now, but I just wanted to say, can people finally shut up about the preseason next year? Everyone was putting the Packers in the SB based on their preseason and once the curtain went up they don't look at all unstoppable, although the Packers probably will make the playoffs (I think CIN is pretty good).
  13. There's your Lambeau Leap.
  14. Sounds about right for a Steelers road game even in Chicago. The secondary market for tickets seemed high even for a Bears home opener?
  15. I think it's ridiculous too. They went 0-12 last year and start out this season 2-1 and they are ranked?
  16. It's partly cloudy and warm here in Chicago, although I do remember hearing about rain later today. We haven't had any sort of rain in Chicago in over 3 weeks so we're certainly due. I've analyzed this game all week and thought about all the angles. I think there will be a desperation for the Bears here considering the fact that everyone is writing them off after the Urlacher injury, and the fact that they can't start out 0-2 with the Vikings and Packers probably starting 2-0. That said, I'm going with my head and predicting a Steelers win, 17-13. Cutler 18-30 187 yards 1 TD Forte 22 carries, 74 yards, 3 rec, 26 yards I really hope I'm wrong though.
  17. I know, only one 12pm Bears game in the first 5 weeks of the season.
  18. Man, Bradley is such a dick.
  19. It's tough because while we are starting out with a tough slate of games, the Packers and Vikings both have easy paths to 3-0 (i'm pretty sure). If the Bears started 0-3 and the Packers and Vikings started 3-0, we're in big trouble and panic might start to set in for the team. There is no Mike Brown on this team to tell the media that we stink.
