  1. Wow, well we have to wait for the lineup to turn back around again to score most likely unless Fuku can do something.
  2. WTF Bradley that was a pathetic attempt at hitting. Geez I still can't stand him....maybe my memory is failing me and I'm missing a huge moment but has he had a clutch hit as a Cub?
  3. Or maybe it was a race for the Indians to score before they had to put perez in there.
  4. Sweet this garbage lefty reliever facing 3 straight right handers. I love it.
  5. Got a bad feeling about Martinez here
  6. I can't remember the last time a Cubs player has taken the ball into the gap and reached the wall. I know the defense was playing to prevent that right there, but it had me wondering. Seems like everything is a single or a homer.
  7. Watch the cute little baseball sized objects float over home plate.
  8. i think dempster would've been to bunt I know but what I'm saying is that he would have burned him from having a chance to pitch later in the game...which might be necessary if the game goes like 17 innings because Patton threw 2 innings yesterday and Gregg played yesterday too.
  9. So again, did Lou forget that Soto and Fox are in his dugout?
  10. This is bizarre....and he almost pinch hit Dempster here if Miles had got on (hahahahahah), meaning that Wells would have been the emergency pitcher if the game had gone like 17 innings, meaning we'd be short a starter tomorrow.
  11. Or...Zambrano??! Is Fox unavailable?
  12. Who would our emergency long reliever be today? I guess Dempster?
  13. Here comes Blanco up again in yet another huge situation. You try to hide a defensive player in the lineup and they just somehow find his spot everytime a big AB comes up.
  14. I don't know how many more bench options do we have? Just Soto and Fox right? Even if we use Soto we still have Fox as an emergency catcher. I just don't know.
  15. Wow the Cubs are really trying to end this thing with one swing, the only reason Reed would be facing a righty is if you needed him to homer because most of his power seems to come against righties.
  16. Ithought it was going to be lined into the gap, not stay up all the way to a get to a fielder.
  17. Great now we have to wait for the lineup to turn itself over before we have another chance to score.
  18. C'mon Bradley where is that power we saw last year?
  19. Then watch Patton pitch innings 10-17
  20. Miles has only had 2 multi hit games all year, and they both came in games where we won by 7 or more runs. Perhaps it's a good thing that Miles didn't get a hit there...the Cubs have lost their last 6 games that Miles has a hit in. Miles has 4 RBIs all year (in 122 ABs), and hasn't had one since May 14th. Overall, the Cubs are 19-26 in games that Miles plays in and 13-5 when he doesn't play.
  21. Will Miles get a hit here? Well no, the bases aren't empty, and we aren't trailing by 4 or more runs.
