  1. Because they thought they'd stop them or something on 2nd and long.
  2. Reed was 8-10 from 40-49 last year and 1-2 from 50 last year
  3. Yup, a 1st here, and they are on the far side of FG range, and they can knock 2 mins off the clock. This is HUGE.
  4. Humongous down here. Oh great AB is down.
  5. Another stupid offsides. C'mon idiots.
  6. I'm not smart enough to know why the Bears have been giving up so much over the middle but please stop. ~15 yards out of FG range.
  7. Stupid fantasy league I'm in that puts everyone on waivers at the start of the week so I can't just pick up Knox and now someone else will surely get him
  8. He will be if he remains Cutler's favorite target. Cutler has shown more confidence in him and almost every time (save last week) he has justified it.
  9. If you are what you say you are A superstar Then have no fear The camera's here and the microphones and they wanna know Oh oh oh oh
  10. A FG isnt the end of the world. You're gonna have to stop the Steelers again anyways this game to win it, and a FG + TD on next possession = win. Still rather have a TD tho
  11. It's not college If your knee hits the ground you're down, no? Um, no. OH YEAH! WIDE LEFT! So what's the point of a QB taking a knee if it doesn't mark the player down? I think there is some sort of rule about, if no players go past the LOS, then a knee without contact = down. But I think that rule is in place specifically with kneel downs in mind to protect the QB. I think the logic is, if no one goes past the LOS, they aren't trying to advance the ball so it's down.
  12. It's not college If your knee hits the ground you're down, no? Only down by contact in the pros, I'm pretty sure.
  13. Only a C- for coaching? Should have broken it into offense and defense. D for offense C+ defense
  14. Looks like the Ben R. fellating session has begun
  15. Thru 3rd quarter grades: QB: B+ RB: C WR: C+ TE: B OL: D DL: C Secondary: C- Coaching: C-
  16. It's always like that. They can't rush the QB on 3rd and longs for some reason. Doesn't matter if they blitz, send their front 4, etc.
  17. The 2009 Bears just set a record. Biggest drop in expectations in a 7 quarter period to start season.
  18. Another 3rd and long converted bc of no pressure.
  19. We can hope for it for the 6th consecutive season. Hell, this is the most they've upgraded the line in years. I'd barely call this upgrading. I'd call it "our second best O-line player retired, we better go sign a high risk/medium reward player"
  20. Orton - 173 passing yards Cutler - 144 passing yards
