  1. omg I love 4 on 4 hockey sometimes. Not going to say it because everytime someone says it he gives up a couple soft goals... 0-0 after 2 periods.
  2. Maybe Hinrich's goofy ass can drop some cheap shot on somebody the way he did to Rondo last year. Not sure if you are trying to just garner a response but I'm pretty sure Bulls fans along with 98% of NBA fans saw that event differently than you do. I didn't see Hinrich throw Ronda into the scorer's table.
  3. That doesn't really appeal to me
  4. I heard it might rain today, so in the interest of getting the game in, they are going to start the game in the top of the 4th, with the Padres up 6-0 and Silva already done for the game.
  5. A lot of people be dying lately.
  6. Regarding Tyrus....Bulls and Tyrus started out the season 2-2, Tyrus is hurt, Bulls go 10-15, Tyrus comes back, Bulls go 15-8, Tyrus leaves again, Bulls go 4-7 so far. Again its hard to come out and say he's the reason considering how sporatic his PT was, and hundreds of other variables at play, but it's a stat so take it for what it's worth
  7. :rotfl: It's actually sad because it's part of his "it's no one else's fault but mine". Judging by his comments throughout his career, he seems to never think it's his fault that people hate him. Like he thinks the world out to get him and only him. He obviously has to know that no other players are getting bounced from several cities, with everyone hating him when he leaves. He blames everyone else but doesn't step out of his shoes and see that there's a trend and the trend is that he is a jackass. If the alledged racist comments were made as frequently as he suggests (or any comments were made at all), then in a way to do sympathise with him. No one deserves that. Not even jackasses like him. But other people's fans making racist comments doesn't make teams dump you for .10 on the dollar. Racist comments don't cause your manager to call you a piece of [expletive] in front of your team during a ballgame. Racist comments don't cause your entire clubhouse to feel a sense of relief when you are suspended for the rest of the year. You are an unbearable [expletive] Milton Bradley and it's time you realize that.
  8. I think they should decide the World Series champ by having all teams pick a number between 1-100 and the closest number wins the WS.
  9. This is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. When I say literally I mean literally. I just read Milton Bradley's comments and they almost seem rational in comparison. If someone tried to argue with me that Neifi Perez is a first ballot HOFer, that would be less stupid than this.
  10. Well I'm sure they care to come degree. But when you have a team where over half the players will be FAs after the season, and most of them are highly unlikely to be back, what motivation is there to play team ball? I don't see a lot of selfish play offensively but defensively whose gonna call them out if they aren't trying their hardest. It's doubtful slacking off on defense is going to change how much you will make next year. It might not even be intentional, but it's probably there. Oh, and also it has to do with the fact that Noah, Thomas and even Salmons were 3 of the Bulls better defensive players. On RealGM, someone pointed out that the Bulls only gave up 100 points only 9 times in 29 games this season with Tyrus in the lineup. Since the trades, the Bulls have given up 100 points in 7 of their last 9 games, including the last 7 in a row.
  11. Shocker. I wish he didn't get hurt diving into the sidelines in the last preseason game. We really really could have used him last season instead of Wolfe and Bell getting significant carries.
  12. Yeah thats why I qualified everything I said with "I know it had to be done". I'm all for what they did, and like I said I don't know what else was out there. But in a perfect world, the Bucks weren't the only team willing to take Salmons, and other teams were interested in Kirk instead of Salmons.
  13. Also, its gonna be hilarious when we trade John Salmons to the Bucks, he plays well and is just what they need as they catch fire and make the playoffs while we sputter out of the playoffs, and then we still have to swap picks, getting the 17th pick instead of the 11th pick. I know we needed to get rid of Salmons, and I don't know what other offers were out there, if there were other offers, so I'm not going to criticize Pax for anything other than not getting rid of Hinrich instead, but what a horrible trade for us in terms of this season.
  14. This could be mostly a fluke, but I strongly believe this team played better when Tyrus was on the team and playing a role. Even if it was for 15 minutes a night. 18-11 Bulls record when Tyrus played in a game for us this year 13-21 Bulls record when Tyrus didn't play in a game for us this year
  15. Bulls have fallen from 6th place to out of the playoffs in a week. The Bulls are on a 5 game losing streak. The Bucks are 10-1 in their last 11 after beating Boston tonight Miami had won 3 in a row until losing to Charlotte tonight Charlotte has won 3 in a row. So the Bulls are in a free fall while the other playoff contenders won't lose. Bad combo. I really don't know what to think of this team anymore. Joakim is hurt, and we are playing hard teams, great whatever. You just lost 4 home games in a row. What kind of semi decent team does that?
  16. Not sure I believe it as he said that there have been no talks. I think if talks were initiated his tune would probably change. He said he doesn't think there would be a domino effect which I think is pretty naive. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=4943237 I'm guessing the Big Ten women's soccer coaches put the kibosh on inviting Texas. What reincarnation are you. Making comments like that with only 100 posts. You must be a banned person. doesn't take 3000 posts to read this thread and not agree that fire and Purdue are the two most successful inventions in world history or whatever it was you said.
  17. I know you're just kidding around but pshhh, that can be applied anywhere. hey free agents, come on down to oklahoma city! we've got kevin durant! He doesn't pass! Don't forget about big man .... uh, we don't really have a big man! Also, we're a playoff team, we got the 6-seed! You can't find an open restaurant in town on Sundays! Did you know that Nick Collison is still in the league! I tend to agree with imb about this. Let me preface this by saying I love Chicago and everything about it, and there's no place I'd rather live. That said, I really don't understand how Chicago appeals to a superstar FA. The weather sucks, the taxes are high, the team has promise but it's probably not championship ready with just the addition of 1 FA. There are some good things too, the city is a big market, the stadium is always sold out, Derrick Rose. I mean if you are comparing Chicago to all the other smaller cold weather cities Chicago is the king. But I just cannot see a superstar choosing Chicago over NYC or Miami, I just can't.
  18. I don't know why everyone on the net is not including Arizona in their mock brackets. I thought they were grandfathered in no matter what. Huh, sure seemed that way the last few years....
  19. I often wonder what this team would be like if we never signed Huet and Campbell. I'd imagine we'd still be a conference contender, only one that could afford to take on salary. What a disasterous offseason for them that year.
  20. He's only had 122 ABs above A ball. He's probably unlikely to match what Theriot or Fontebaker can give us. There's no need for him on the big league team right now. No you don't understand, Castro is the love child of Barry Bonds and Jesus.
  21. We scored 4 goals today on the Red Wings. They will get this win, but we definitely held serve against Detroit if not for a defense/huet collapse. Good win for Detroit, and meh loss for us, but whatever. Move on. It just sucks to lose to Detroit.
  22. I was mad awhile ago, but I am not as mad now. Sure it's important to beat the Wings, but we showed nice resolve coming back. All this game did was futher prove Huet is not the answer. Niemi might not be either, but Huet clearly isn't the answer. I feel better now than I did a half hour ago.
  23. HOW DID WE NOT SCORE THERE HOLY CRAP HOW DID IT NOT GO IN
  24. When you are down 1 with little time left, it's not a good idea to spend 3-4 straight minutes in the Neutral zone/Hawks zone. Detroit is really clamping down.
