    It's amazing how Sopel is viewed as a horrible player when he plays 5 on 5, but when he's on the kill he becomes indispensable.

    That penalty was by design. They've been trying to piss off Buff all game waiting for him to do something stupid. And it happened.

    Why this one and not the next one? Already answered but this became the one we are supposed to win because we held a 2 goal lead until the last minute of the 2nd.

    Canucks taking dives all over the place. Thank God the refs are too smart for that.

    3 different Hawks have lost their helmets and played a short stretch without them in this game. It's like all the stick breaking in the last game.

    Dammit I would have been so much happier and confident going into this intermission with a 2 goal lead. Now I'm a wreck. We can't blow this game. Assuming you believe we split in Vancouver, this is the game we are supposed to win.

    no it wasnt...pretty classless actually Why? The fans were booing the crap out of him, the Canucks players were gooning it up, Buff made sure everyone understood the scoreboard is the most important part. I wouldn't say it was classy, but I don't think it was classless.

    I was wondering why the first 2 games weren't more physical and rather lame. This is what I expected.

    Neither did Vancouver's coach before the series started. I bet he knows now.

    Are you being sarcastic? No one is saying the Hawks were done, just noting that they were being outplayed for a good chunk of time and they weren't likely to hold a 1 goal lead playing like this. But sometimes Burrows happens.

    BUFF!!!! Love it! I thought they were being too patient, but it worked out. Like Foley said, stupid penalty, make them pay!

    In a way this is kinda playing out like game 2 but the roles reversed. Canucks jump out to a 2-0 lead, and then the Hawks dominate pretty much the rest of the game.

    See I would have preferred the Hawks remain in their funk and win 2-0, but that's just me. :)

    Who wants to bet if the Canucks do score a goal it's not gonna come on a well executed play but come seemingly harmless shot from the point.

    Great period for buff too. And not just because he scored. He was all over the place the later half of the period.

    this definitely looks like one of those games for Lu where he gives up way too many rebounds and has trouble getting the puck covered.
