    Because it's cold and [expletive] and he wanted to get to the locker room to warm up and dry off. What is more probable, Urlacher catching that and running 104 yards for a TD, or Urlacher intercepting it and trying to run it back and fumbling the ball on a tackle that is scooped up by the Vikings for a score? Or what if the ball bounces off his hands and back up into the air. It's just better to bat it down as the odds of the bears getting points on that play is so insignificant its not worth risking injury or something random and catostrophic happening.

    Interesting half. Several major calls have gone against the Bears and yet we are still winning by 10 and no one is concussed for the Bears yet. (unless Cutler got one on that helmet to helmet hit that was uncalled and led to a damaging INT)

    wow Williams with a possible concussion too. Bears fans bitched about it all week and it's only affecting the Vikings so far. I realize the knee to the head is probably why and not the turf. Just strange either way.

    I don't care at all about lucky breaks. I'll take em. The last time we were in a position to make the playoffs a squib kick, a slow clock and a 45 yard field goal did us in.

    I take bak what I said about the quick whistle was to protect favre. It's obvious they are trying to protect all qbs from hitting their head on the turf.

    Yeah, and the starter is Brett Favre. Let's see a guy who played WR last year in college or a guy who went 30 tds to 7 ints last year. Hmm... Tough call. Yeah, Favre's definitely been the same player this year, not a shriveled up old man. Yeah I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Rice has missed most of the season or the fact that his line has given him no time. Your right, sorry I doubted you oh great one.     Im not ashamed at all. He shouldnt be out there if he's a brittle old man. Name the last game that favre played that he didn't have at least one play with an injury scare. It was a matter of time and everyone including favre had to know it.

    I think the NFL is just ignoring it and hoping it doesn't come up. You might be killed if they find out you are talking about it. I think this is what they are trying to do with Sextgate but Favre is too high profile.
