  1. Haha. That's what I was thinking. Great game. Gotta feel bad for Boise's kicker. I feel horrible for him. I'm not sure how much more you could possibly choke than that. With so much at stake...geez. I can't believe he missed 2 FGs of less than 30 yards. I don't even think Michigan's kicker would have done that and he sucks.
  2. Wow. John Lucas III you are off the hook.
  3. He's not in the game. lol Bulls down 21-7 early.
  4. As seen on deadspin... http://deadspin.com/5699796/felix-pie-throws-major-league-tantrum-in-winter-league-ball Funny stuff
  5. thats gonna change tonight @ denver without rose Billups is out too so we'll see.
  6. lol...Bill Simmons finally picks us in a game and spends the entire paragraph giving us backhanded compliments.
  7. I think DePaul this season might be the worst major conference basketball team in D1 history.
  8. Saints win. Bad for the bears
  9. Watching the Lions get blown out is an unfortunate Thanksgiving tradition. These poor fans deserve better.
  10. Anthony. The SG is important but if we have a SF that is a dynamic scorer and can create his own shot as well as Melo, the SG becomes a lot less important. It's ok to have a defensive SG if you have enough options on offense elsewhere. For instance, the Thunder have Westbrook and Durant and are ok with Thabo being their starting SG. If we had Melo to go with Rose, Boozer and Noah, I'd be perfectly fine with Brewer as the starting SG.
  11. I wish there was some way Boise State could actually be allowed to play the schedule that BCS teams do. Then at least they'd have a shot to make it. It's not their fault that they joined the game late and didn't spend the last 50 years in a power conference. They can't schedule enough BCS teams because no one wants to play them. They can't play better conference opponents because no one is begging them to join their conference. Either make a playoff where everyone has a shot to compete for the championships, or let the BCS schools seperate and form their own football division while the Boise States and TCUs of the world will at least get a shot to win some sort of championship.
  12. CNNsi's rankings were just posted with the Bears below TB and two 6-4 teams. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/don_banks/11/23/nfl-power-rankings-week-12/index.html?eref=sihp From that article: So the Bucs, with a negative point differential and no wins over +.500 teams deserve to be in the top 10 because they shutout a bad 49ers team. But the Bears with a positive point differential, and 2 wins over +500 teams are stuck at 12 after shuting out a better Dolphins team. Makes sense.
  13. Korver kiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllled us last night. Normally he does miss that badly on wide open attempts. Normally if he misses they rim out or something. I do like that we've been competitive with Boston, SA and LAL, but a lot of teams can catch an elite team at the right time and play them closely. This Bulls team is beyond moral victories and needed to close out one of those 3 games for a win. Oh well, the second is young and we're about to go on a tear when the schedule lightens up in about 2 weeks.
  14. Nice. Good to see they are still getting along together as a team. Also I hope Kane kept his shirt on this time.
  15. ESPN: http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings Week 12: Bears 12, TB 11 Week 11: Bears 17, TB 11 Week 10: Bears 19, TB 13 AOL Fanhouse: http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/11/23/nfl-power-rankings-week-12-finally-some-seperation/ Bears 11, TB 10 CBS Sports: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/powerrankings Bears 12, TB 10 Whatever this is: http://larrybrownsports.com/football/lbs-nfl-power-rankings-week-12/40873 Bears 12, TB 9 Those are 4 of the first 5 I pulled up (Yahoo had the Bears ahead). I'm sure there are plenty that have the Bears first but I would say the consensus has the Bucs higher than Chicago despite not beating a single +500 team and having a negative point differential.
  16. That's simply not true. Tampa Bay? I've seen them below Tampa on many lists. They've been behind a crappy Oakland team and the rest of that weak AFC West as well. Yeah just about every ranking I've seen has TB over the bears. Still not sure why though.
  17. Sure but the way he worded the post made it seem like the game being on NBA TV is preventing him from watching the game otherwise.
  18. I still hate him for the phantom HBP incident at Wrigley several years ago. I'd take him but I think he'll want too much money for someone who declined heavily last year.
  19. he got Lasik this year, so no Really? How did that not kill him?
  20. It's like me and Peter King. I don't know why but I do.
  21. I have no idea how Simmons manages to be completely off the mark about everything he says about the Bears, but he does.
  22. It's gonna mean something, they are going to have to go to Orlando and Boston now to get out of the East. They're 2 games behind Boston and 1 1/2 behind Orlando (14 games in), and they're playing like garbage according to everyone. Cancel the season, the Heat are finished. Yup thats what everyone is saying. Miami is playing like garbage and due to these 14 games, its now written in stone that Miami will forever play at an 8-6 or worse pace. What are you reading?
  23. That's kind of cool. I wonder if its possible to do that most years.
  24. At this point despite the lack of NFL success, Harbaugh is probably the biggest name on the market besides Cowher and Gruden. His stock is red hot.
