  1. LOL! All the lucky bounces today so far!
  2. Dammit....tackle for a loss on 1st, forced a fumble on 2nd, forced a 3rd and long and they still get the 1st
  3. Would you rather have 1st and 20 or 2nd and 13?
  4. I'll take 3 points right off the bat. Good game plan so far. They were ready for the Jets blitzes by having a quick option to throw to.
  5. Lucky call for the Bears. I'll take it!
  6. Fearless prediction? Or did I miss it? 23-17 Bears
  7. A few inches for the Pats game and nothing to a dusting in the Vikes game. It was snowing all day in Minneapolis the day of the game. There might not have been a ton of snow on the field but it didn't help the condition of the field.
  8. Betting the under really worked out for the Bears Pats and Bears Vikings games.
  9. Are your seriously dissing the Swirsk? Shame on you.
  10. That loss stung a little bit partially because it's a Xmas game and partially because it was the knicks. I'm over it though. Rose really disappeared the last 2 fourth quarters and what a surprise, the bulls offense struggled mightily in both games. Hope it's not the beginning of a trend. Oh well its really nice to be back on Christmas either way, even if all the hype was about Lebron vs. Kobe.
  11. The NY Post is reporting that Sanchez will start on Sunday http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets/sanchez_improves_in_practice_report_xFCCaOC5CSULtePRNea3kO
  12. The Cowboys are still playing hard and are still a talented team and it's the last game of the season. Is it in Dallas? I could see the Cowboys winning over their rivals
  13. Because he doesn't look like an ace. Aces don't have male pattern baldness, red goatees, or a sense of humor. #4's do Aces don't trip jumping over the fence in front of the dugout either. Classic #4 starter behavior.
  14. True. I don't computer models project that kind of stuff though. I'm sure they take into account that almost all the key players are on the later half of their careers, but they are playing at such a high level that it's hard for a computer model to predict much regression.
  15. Too high or too low? They're what 23-4 right now?
  16. http://trsullivan.mlblogs.com/archives/2010/12/webb_not_in_texaswashington_ha.html if you're trying to re-establish your value, why the hell would you want to pitch in texas? seriously, that would be dumb Worked great for Rich Harden...
  17. He was at a game a couple of years ago and the Bulls got killed. He probably doesn't want to jinx them anymore.
  18. Yeah its the same on WCIU. Heard some interesting things tonight. It's most evident on the side of the court that the Wizards are currently shooting at.
  19. I agree with the basic idea of your post but there are several issues at play that I think make his statement about being disrespected somewhat reasonable 1) He was randomly pulled out of a game with 2 minutes left. (which is fine). Afterwords when asked about it Shannahan made up some excuse about him not being in shape to run the 2 minute offense. Then later it was that he didn't know the 2 minute offense well enough. If you are gonna pull the guy because he sucks, just say it. 2) Then he was given a huge contract extension that has nothing guaranteed after this year unless he started a game for them next year. That was just bizarre. Was it hush money? We're they reaffirming their committment to him? Were they trying to motivate him to play better? None of this made sense. 3) Then he is replaced as the starter with 3 weeks left in the season and told he's being demoted to 3rd string. According to McNabbs comments he found out by the media. Shannahan didn't tell him until Thursday. 4) He's being replaced by Rex Grossman. It's not like theres someone else on the roster that either a) Has a better track record, or b) has a future as the Redskins QB. It's just a weird set of circumstances that would seemed to have gone better if Shannahan and the powers that be were more upfront from the start. I realize its a difficult move to make for your fan base to understand, but it has to play out better than that. No arguments that he wasn't playing well enough to feel entitled to remain as starter for the rest of the season.
  20. With less cockfighting involved, yes.
  21. Hahaha Packers fans you supported a douchebag for 15 years! And Vikings fans support him now even though he's even a bigger douchebag now. (PS I realize I support Jay Cutler)
  22. Funny that this topic keeps coming up but I was listening to Waddle and Silvy yesterday and they were talking about all they hear is about how hard Cutler works and that he's one of the hardest workers on the team and sets an example for the rest of the team. I don't think anyone that claims to know really knows.
  23. I wanted Hawes too. I'm not afriad to admit it. I hated the idea of drafting Noah and thought he would never be anything more than a poor man's Tyson Chandler. I thought Hawes was raw but had shown a primative low post game, the type that we desperately needed on the team. I felt if we drafted him, in 2-3 years he'd be a legit low post threat for us. That's why I only pretend to be an NBA GM on the internet. Never been happier to be wrong.
