  1. I think its cool to have a moody QB that doesn't give a crap what people think of him. I've always hated pretty boy all-everything QBs. Cutler seems more relatable in a way.
  2. Rivers is just as big a douche as Cutler is.
  3. Nice. Be loud. 4th Phase > 12th man
  4. I keep wanting to read about and discuss this game but then when I pull up some articles, I can't read them. I just get a headache because I've been reading too much about it and just want it to be Sunday. The storylines are all set and have been discussed ad nauseum all week. Heck, I am going to Florida tomorrow and I'm thing I'm most looking forward to then is watching the game inside at the condo we're staying at.
  5. What gameplan have they seen before? The Bears? The Bears gameplan is like night and day from their gameplan in week 6. In week 6 it was all 7 step drops and passes downfield, no checkdowns and no running game. Now its short passes, 3 step drops, balanced running attack. They couldnt be more different. If you are talking about defensively, of course they will be the same. The Bears have been running the same defense for 6 years now with slight adjustments each game. By my count Hasselbeck has seen the same Bears defensive game plan 5 times since 2006. Nothing new there, but its effective when the pieces are there. Hope is a dangerous thing. There's no doubt the Seahawks can win, but after beating the Saints, its like most fans and the media immediately changed their perception of the team as a whole based on one game (they didnt look particularly good in that Rams game). They forget all the things the Hawks did badly, and try to find reasons why its different than it was 2 week ago. Come Sunday we will find out if those reasons are legit, or if its just false hope from one game.
  6. I don't know I think the lessened demand has everything to do with the former reasoning (waiting for Packers NFC champ game) than the latter. New experience or not, its a Bears playoff game. Anytime they are good and have a shot at the Super Bowl, people go bonkers. People don't want to admit it but deep down they think the Bears will roll over the Seahawks and want to try to buy potential Packers tickets instead of Seahawks tickets. That and the weather forecast and the growing trend of people thinking their home theater experience is as good as the game experience are a couple of the reasons the demand is down.
  7. lol Ben Eager for John Scott straight up.
  8. I read in the Red Eye today that the demand for Bulls/Heat on Saturday night has now exceeded demand for Bears/Seahawks.
  9. PS its awesome to see Anaheim a point above us in the standings and actually revel in the fact that WE have one game in hand on THEM. :) In terms of projected standings based on PPG, this is what we'd have Vancouver 121 Detroit 113 Dallas 106 Nashville 102 Phoenix 97 Chicago 93 Colorado 93 Anaheim 93 --------------- Los Angeles 92 Minnesota 90 St. Louis 90 San Jose 88 Columbus 82 Calgary 78 Edmonton 66 (4 of them received in Chicago :( )
  10. That's awesome. Meanwhile, for the season Niemi is 9-13-2 with a .907 save percentage and a 2.85 GAA. It looks like all that minor league seasoning helped Crawford prepare for this opportunity. Meanwhile Turco is playing the Huet role perfectly at 9-10-2 with a .899 save percentage and 3.02 GAA.
  11. Holy crap, the Clippers are up 20 on Miami in the first half. They've scored 53 points in the first 15 minutes of the game. That's a 212 point pace.
  12. I think we've lost 4 times since Noah has been out. Out of those 4, having Noah would have won 3 of them I'm almost certain. We got completely abused in the paint tonight in the 1st quarter and Noah would have helped. Also, Noah would have a chance to tip in each of Rose's 34584 misses on his little 3 foot shots that he can't finish.
  13. Good to see that Michigan is ripping their own alumni in the press.
  14. Next you'll tell me that wearing my lucky jersey doesn't have an affect either. Oh no that totally does. You and you alone have the power to affect the game by the jersey that you wear. Just like I am able to affect Bulls games based on whether or not I am watching the game. Use this power wisely. make sure you're at an opera or something this sunday, please. Actually, I'll be in Florida. But still watching the game sorry.
  15. Next you'll tell me that wearing my lucky jersey doesn't have an affect either. Oh no that totally does. You and you alone have the power to affect the game by the jersey that you wear. 16. Originally I said 24-20 Bears. I actually think I'm going to change that. I've felt more confident about the game as the week has gone on. I'm feeling 34-17 Bears right now. In terms of media perception, this is a no win game for the Bears. If they lose, the 2010 Bears are forever known as the flukiest luckiest team in NFL history. If they win a close one, they will continue to get very little respect and 95% of all prognosticators will pick whoever we play to blow us out. If we blow them out, we were supposed to so it doesn't change the perception of the team.
  17. I thought it was more like watching a monkey throw it's own poop. I'll agree on that one. Although is it wise to call all the Bears fans here monkeys? ahahaha I see what you did there. I haven't seen comebacks like that since I was in junior high.
  18. What, you mean like last week? I'll say the same thing for this week's game that I said for the game against Philly. If we lose the game, it's not going to be because "everyone picked us." I thought Philly was more of a 60/40 in favor of the Packers. This one feels like 80/20 Pack. They aren't going to lose because "everyone picked them". But strange things happen when a majority of people jump on one side for a seemingly even game. I agree though that who picks who has nothing to do with the actual result of the game.
  19. In the Scouts Inc breakdown of the game, the Bears have the edge at every position but QB for some reason. Despite that they pick a Bears win 16-13.
  20. It's true. He's such an idiot. His quote today was talking about "I don't care about booing anymore, I embrace being a villian now" was complete BS. That's complete playground psychology. "If I embrace what they are doing they will stop doing it." Face it LeBron you are a doucebag villian for the rest of your career and there's nothing you can do about it!
  21. lol...I remember reading this before the season and laughing. Now its just sad... http://theclevelandfan.com/cleveland-cavaliers/4-cavs-archive/6781-believe-it-these-cavs-can-still-make-it-happen
  22. So did little babe ruth, but I considered that a compliment to Grace
