  1. Why are they complaining about clock management? It worked out perfectly for them. If they had gotten the first down there they would have had about 55 seconds and 2 time outs to drive 20 yards. As it stands they kick a FG and there is only enough time for the Bears to return a kickoff and nothing else.
  2. 200 yards passing for Cam
  3. Panthers on pace for 600 yards of offense in the game.
  4. Yup they will tie it before halftime
  5. Sure when you have 10 seconds every play, its pretty easy to hang out in the pocket
  6. lol 132 yards receiving before halftime. This defense is [expletive] terrible. Has anyone even touched Cam Newton in the pocket yet? Where is Peppers? Is this the Peppers Carolina fans warned us of?
  7. Especially frustrating considering the amount of money they had available this past offseason. In theory I don't mind that move because like I said, we had a ton of options that Angelo hand picked for us. Wright was a 3rd rounder, Steltz was a 4th rounder, Conte a 4th rounder. We traded a developing LB for another safety, and then spent money on another safety. The issue is, for the most part the safeties kind of all suck except Harris. but thats just it, none of them outplayed manning. just cut the non-producers, keep the talent especially after you wait so long for him to develop Sure but like someone pointed out Manning had 1 good year out of 5, and you had Conte who is a rookie and developing, Steltz who ihad 2 years in the league and was developing too. If you are Angelo and you believe in the guys you drafted, it makes sense to let Manning go.
  8. our defense kind of blows. remember how excited we were to have a pass rush after the atlanta game? Whoops I guess we jumped the gun there.

  10. Maybe at some point the Bears will decide to cover Smith. 6 years of him torching us.
  11. Actually I just watched the replay and he didn't. I thoght I saw it originally. Looked like all he did was do 3 somersaults in a row.
  12. If anyone should have had his guys prepared for Devin Hester it's Rivera.
  13. Not supposed to use the ball as a prop Hesta lol Bears have 24 points and Cutler has 1 pass attempt
  14. I thought safety would be a strength this year considering how many resources we've spent on that position group between trades (Chris Harris), draft picks (Wright, Steltz, Conte) and FA signings (Merriweather) Instead we have one player I feel good about starting, and we can't keep him on the field (Harris). Just another Angelo failure.
  15. 2005 flashbacks I guess I know why NE let Meriweather go now
  16. Devin Aromashadu just caught a TD pass for the Vikings
  17. yay more offensive line injuries
  18. Everything is brutalizing this D. No pressure, receivers getting open, RBs finding big holes. Disasterous drive thus far.
  19. If we finish below .500 this year, we'll have flip flopped between above .500 and below .500 for 6 straight seasons
  20. Bennett inactive as well.
  21. Interesting but critical article by Biggs. At first it seemed like an anti cutler article but it's obvious his main critique is about the man that brought Cutler here. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/ct-spt-1002-jay-cutler-bears-chicago--20111002,0,4295070.story
  22. I guy from ABC 7 in Chicago was reporting he had been.
