  1. This. I remember back in the day (2004-2005 season) when I went to the bar and had to ask 2 different people until they finally put the Bulls game on instead of something like college hockey or the Liberty Bowl.
  2. When did Ben Wallace enroll at Murray St.
  3. Now come on, lets not get carried away. Lucas has only played spot minutes for most of the season. I'm pretty sure they will feel obligated to give the award to someone who has played the entire season. So I guess it won't be a Bull. Boozer still has a shot!
  4. LOL! http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/id/7689179/dwyane-wade-sr-father-miami-heat-guard-was-ejected-united-center Poor guy is going to lose his Moo & Oink endorsement.
  5. Sure, or another guy like Wimbley

  7. Bulls best two offensive options (other than Jesus Lucas) go 5-17 for 13 points, LeBron and Wade combine for 30-51 and 74 points and the Bulls win hahaha.
  8. Derrick doesn't swear. He's saying 'that's a great dunk noah, lets weeen this game!"
  9. The Pac 12 everyone.
  10. Quite hilarious following Ochocincos twitter feed as he tries to charter a jet from Miami to Chicago in time for tonight's game.
  11. Argh I wonder what he said to keep him in freaking Jacksonville. "We have some of the world's best retirement homes!" You won't have to deal with all the pressure of playing in the playoffs and your work year will be shorter! As opposed to the Bears who have been to the playoffs once in the last 5 years right? (I know I know, the Bears are much more equipped to make the playoffs this year than Jacksonville)
  12. lol Dwight is fucked in the head. Seriously
  13. I think it could almost be done with the Forte negotiations in mind. Hey Matt we are not afraid to replace you. Look here's Michael Bush. Not that Bush is in Forte's caliber, but him and a 1st or 2nd round rookie RB would work for many teams.
  14. I think people (SSR) would laugh if they saw these trade offers. There is no way Sessions Boozer and the Bobcats pick is enough for Gasol. I don't even think Devin Harris is enough. If they are going to trade their event asset they're going to want a star back not an average NBA point guard and an undersized PF who has lost a step and converted from a low post player to a jump shooter and is among the worst defenders in the NBA.
  15. For those that latch on to baseless internet rumors from random message board posters, there is lots of stuff floating around on RealGM rightn now condensed into this thread: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1168262&sid=e6608359dccd25ef13cc76876031adb6 Preview: Pau is pushing for a trade to Chicago, Bulls talking with Utah about trading players to them for Devin Harris who is added with Boozer and the Bobcats pick for a trade to LA for Gasol. The chances of any of this being true is maybe 5% but oh well, what else are you going to talk about today? Oh yeah that game against the Heat tonight. Well talk about this too!
  16. Black eye? Freudian slip from a poster on this site a year or two ago. Carlos Zambrano was going to give Milton Bradley a black guy. I wonder if Milty ever received him.
  17. Yep. They brought him in and then declined to sign him. He started just 1 game last year (played in 8) for Atlanta. Of course there's another reason he means something to the bears that I won't bring up.
  18. You know what I hate? When I am attending a local function and a random fight breaks out causing me to flee as quickly as possible. But not quickly enough to prevent my wife from randomly getting hit in the face with a bee- I mean beverage container. Of course after that occurs I calmly take the wife to the hospital and then return to the scene to ID the hooligans and assist the police in any way I can.
  19. See yeah, 3.5 million is way too much for someone who could very well not see the field this year. They basically spent 15% of their available cap space on an insurance policy. If they had this insurance policy last year, they get into the playoffs, with Cutler coming back. Right it's a reactive move. If you are walking down the street and get struck by lightning, do you wrap yourself in rubber everywhere you go for the rest of your life? You only have a certain amount of money you are allowed to spend in the NFL and its up to the GM to determine how likely something like that will happen again. Based on recent NFL history it's highly unlikely that Cutler is going to miss 6 games with a random injury and his backup is going to be pathetically bad. Heck if we started McCowb from the start we could have easily won the Broncos and Chiefs game putting us in the playoffs (I think). You don't need a 3.5 million backup QB when there are glaring holes that need to be addressed with available FA money.
  20. It was literally the post right above yours I used to mock people for that type of cluelessness but I now realize that almost everyone has a moment where they blatantly miss a discussion about what you are posting about. Doesn't make me feel any better though. My bad.
  21. Great, he caught Rip Hamilton disease. Could be ugly with Rose, Deng, Rip and CJ out against the Heat. The way the Bulls seem to operate "in doubt" = definitely out. BTW, in a probably related move, Mike James was signed for the 3rd time this year today.
  22. and the Bears too
  23. It's hard to complain about seeding when you're in the NIT, but yeah it's [expletive]. I was going to say that seeding is almost irrelevant in the NIT as better teams are constantly seeded lower to reduce travel and create better matchups, but it looks as those NU is going to have to play at Washington this weekend.
  24. Great night of hoops...both games featured improbably comebacks. Feel bad for Iona if they lose this.
  25. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/13/report-mario-williams-leaving-buffalo-without-signing-will-visit-others/ Hah, told you he wouldnt sign tonight. Don't like reading that he'll be the highest paid defensive player in NFL history though. I think that will knock the Bears out of this if they haven't been already.
