  1. This feels like the Flyers series so far...felt comfortable coming out of Chicago and now on the road ice they look like a completely different team. Both teams do actually
  2. Terrible...I could see that coming.
  3. id love for Kane and Toews to show up offensively
  4. Poor 1st period, but that's to be expected going on the road for Game 3 with a 2-0 series lead.
  5. You know whats funny/sad? The Hawks statistically are beyond dominant on the PK, but the opponents routinely look better running their PP's against our PK units than our PP looks against other team's lesser PKs.
  6. Sharp with a Shaw like attraction to the box tonight.
  7. Ugh Sharp, we cant afford to lose you for 5 mins
  8. Man do I hate our Power Play
  9. Kings just look faster so far tonight. Feeding off the energy of the crowd I guess.
  10. It wasn't Hawks and Wings in 61 was it? No, I think the O6 era ended in 1968. Last O6 matchup was 1979, Habs and Rangers I believe
  11. Terrible turnover leads to a goal
  12. They probably want to make sure they have enough proof to win an appeal. If they suspended all of them and they all won their appeals it would be incredibly embarrassing to the league and no one would take their PED program seriously.
  13. Also, I'm not presuming anything, but anyone want to take a guess at when the last time two O6 teams faced off in the SCF? Edit: It's only happened 6 times since the league expanded beyond the O6
  14. Walkom on the ice tonight to help officiate the game.
  15. At this point? I'd say this series would be a more surprising sweep most because Boston has the next 2 at home.
  16. Man this is a big game. Obviously we only need to win one of the next two but a win by LA tonight builds up the "LA is invincible at home" thing.
  17. And here are the 6 interleague matchup combos that have never happened as of this moment. They are all scheduled to happen this season. Braves @ Royals Dodgers @ Yankees Rays @ Dodgers Cubs @ A's Rangers @ Cardinals Cardinals @ Angels Also, the Twins have never visited Washington in interleague play but did play in Montreal. They will play in Washington later this month.
  18. Just for fun: the number of (non playoff) games played against each AL opponent: Houston - 705 White Sox - 93 Minnesota - 24 Kansas City - 18 Detroit - 17 Cleveland - 14 Texas - 12 Boston - 9 Yankees - 9 Seattle - 9 Toronto - 9 Angels - 8 (after this week) A's - 6 Orioles - 6 Rays - 6
  19. Angels were here in 2010, which is their only visit to Wrigley Field. This is only the second time the Cubs have visited LAA. Coming into this season, the Angels were tied with the Orioles, A's and Rays as teams the Cubs have played the least in interleague play (6 games). The Cubs will play the A's later this season in their first ever appearance in Oakland.
  20. Other than the fact that the first 2 games were at home this year, this series has started out rather similar to the Sharks WCF in 10.
  21. LMAO http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BTg9seTbxiU
  22. oh man, Sharp did everything but put that in.
  23. This is the first time we've had a multiple goal lead prior to the 3rd period since the Wild series I think.
  24. damn i might be able to catch Mad Men live tonight. ok ok I'm kidding I'm not going to bail out on the Hawks in a playoff game just because they are dominating.
  25. holy [expletive], I was not expecting that! Quick giving up softies now
