Yeah...I probably could have worded that better. I'm not scared meaning I think the Hawks have a better than 50% chance of winning.

Boston vs. Chicago/LA Obviously the Hawks are the heavy favorites to come out of the west at this point but either series would be good. Despite the sweep, I'm not overly scared of the Bruins, but I think a Bos/Chi series is a coin flip with a slight advantage to the Hawks for home ice. If its Bos/Chi I say Chi in 7 and for the sake of not jinxing, if its Bos/LA its Boston in 6.

Obviously we still have work to do and I'm not getting ahead of myself but I heard on the Score today that if neither of the conference finals goes 6 games, the SCF will start on Tuesday (6/11). If either series goes 6 or longer, the SCF will start Saturday 6/15.

Seriously, these Bruins fans on HF Boards are acting like the SCF are a meaningless victory tour at this point. Those cocky bitches have completely forgotten just 3 years ago they blew a 3-0 lead. I hate Boston fans and if this series happens its going to be so annoying.

it's a little surprising, but they also didn't get very many shots off in the first two games 101 shot attempts last night, i think. rask is a spectacular goalie. He must be, Jonesie already declared Boston the Stanley Cup winners. Maybe he didn't mean to but he said "when they win the Stanley Cup he (Campbell) will be part of the ceremony". Hopefully that's some kind of jinx. It would be great if Boston found a way to blow this lead like they did in 2010 against the Flyers. Boston has looked pretty dominant this series obviously, but the Penguins still have 2 home games and despite issues on the defensive side are a very talented team. Obviously not very likely but possible. I would love to see Boston at least get a scare and have the Pens win a couple of games....too much trash talk going on by the Bruins fans right now.

This is kind of jumping the gun but do the Hawks have a legit Conn Smythe contender right now? bickell? Crawford? If we won the Cup, I'm thinking there would be a decent chance the Conn Smythe goes to the opponent. It would be only the 5th time that it has happened.
