  1. Suspension Vid http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=60&id=257057&cmpid=nhl-twt
  2. Come on announce your damn decision already.
  3. Weird to see Hawks players as bad guys this playoffs. Lots of goon tactics and borderline hits. Not more than the average NHL team but I don't remember as much of it in previous years. During the Cup run, sure Bolland was a pest, but not in dirty way. Eager and Burish would antagonize but again not in a particularly dirty way. Or maybe I am just remembering those days with rose colored glasses. Now we have people calling Keith a very dirty player among the worst in the league, people calling for Bolland to be suspended for his hit in game one, and the mere presence of Carcillo and Mayers although they don't dress most of the time.
  4. You think a double minor should lessen the chance for a suspension? the severity of one at least. I thought i remember Shanahan saying that Torres not getting a penalty played into the length of his suspension last year, but I might be insane.
  5. Shouldnt the fact that he was given a double minor factor into it? If not it should
  6. I'm over the loss already for a few reasons. One, I did not expect a sweep, and in fact I thought it was more likely we headed back to Chicago tied 2-2 despite how lifeless and banged up the Kings appeared. They looked lifeless and banged up last series too (as our old friend Burish pointed out the other day) and still went 4-0 at home. Second, I was very encouraged with how the Hawks stayed in the game and really should have tied it at the end. Has to be a bit demoralizing for the Kings to play as desperate as they did and having the Hawks get several excellent attempts to send it to OT in the latter part of the 3rd period. Anyways, I think we can win Game 4, but I won't be destroyed if we are tied going back to Chicago. I was bracing for a long series before it started, and while I was/am feeling good from how the weekend went, I knew it would be extremely difficult to win in LA. Would really really like Kane and Toews to wake the heck up and start producing though. Kane especially, because at least you know Toews is giving you quality defensive play when he's not producing offensively.
  7. Right...im actually very encouraged by the 3rd period. Came to LA needing to take 1 of 2 to have a nearly insurmountable lead in the series. Even if we lose game 4, we still have home ice.
  8. Someone tell Kane this is the Western Conference Finals and not a Tuesday night game against Columbus. No need to be cute or try to make SC Top 10 with your fancy passes and stick work....just shoot the puck
  9. This is heartbreaking to see all these near misses as the game winds down
  10. wtf is Kane doing out there? Not to sound all Eddie O, but put the puck on goal
  11. Upon further review....i dont think he was offside
  12. yeah i dont know about that offsides....SOB WALKOMMM!!!!! You owe us one dude
  13. Oh man....can't believe he couldnt get a shot off there
  14. Want a win, but I'll take a solid period here in the 3rd after 2 lackluster ones.
  15. Not a good time for a no look pass Kane.
  16. Oh man Bickell had 2 great whacks at that.
  17. Came in healthy and a 2-0 lead
  18. Another [expletive] penalty? Geez
  19. Seriously Kane and Toews production is rather bizarre this postseason, compared to their other 2 long playoff runs in their careers. 08-09: In 17 games, they combined for 27 points (16 goals, 11 assists). 1.6 points per game (0.9 goals, 0.7 assists) 09-10: In 22 games, they combined for 57 points (17 goals, 40 assists). 2.6 points per game (0.8 goals, 1.8 assists) 12-13: In 15 games, they combined for 17 points (3 goals, 14 assists). 1.1 points per game (0.2 goals, 0.9 assists)
  20. Hey there, I will take that heading into the locker room!
  21. SOG LA 17, CHI 9 Faceoffs LA 22, CHI 13 PIM CHI 10, LA 4 Hits LA 24 CHI 17
  22. Jesus Chances - LA 14, Chi 5
  23. ugh...a double minor.
