    you stole my thunder! I said that last night. Last year was the first year in Bears history that they failed to hold an opponent under 20 points. I read that from Banedon and thought, "already mentioned, but worth repeating!" Ah...whoops. Missed that. No worries, like Tim said it is worth repeating. It's just one of those weird streaks that I've tracked in the back of my head since last year because I'm weird like that and I was excited to post that the streak has been broken.

    I will say this for the running game. 1) It was probably not a huge part of the playbook to begin with, given our struggles with running the ball so far, and the Jets being a very good run stopping defense. But also, 2) once Fiametta left due to injury, they probably abandoned even more of the run game. They still used Forte with those short over the top dump passes to make up for some of what they weren't getting in the rushing game. That's basically what Cutler was saying in the post game. Something about how they knew coming into the game that running between the tackles wasn't going to be a big part of the game and Forte wasn't going to have a 100 yard game on the ground.

    The opening line is a pick 'em. Bears should be favored at home, IMO. Packers have looked awful this season. Will be interesting to see which injured players are able to play after a short week. I'll go 30-24 Bears

    Why not just let it play out if there's any uncertainty? I don't think the refs even knew he fumbled until they whistled it dead. I could be wrong though.

    Was it him or Fuller that ended up touching it out of bounds? DJ Williams should have recovered the fumble in bounds but one of those 2 got to it first...not a very heads up play. Fuller I will not attack Fuller because he's awesome and the best player ever but that and the running out of the end zone after the int [-X

    I don't blame them. That pass interference on Jeffery was an interesting call and of course the fumble should have been returned for TD. I didn't get enough sleep last night so I can't remember, but I commented on the final drive that the calls are evening up...I remember the challenge of the spot that could have been overturned, and I remember a blatant offensive holding call missed on a drive where Bostic got called for defensive holding (which was an iffy call). Was there anything else fishy I missed that went against the Bears?

    Lets hope so. Kane and Sharp both had to miss some of the scrimmage last night due to shots to the face. Nothing serious though and they both came back in. First preseason game against Detroit is tonight on CSN+!

    At this point, there's much time left for a promising finish to the season. Oh well, hope he is ready to make adjustments this offseason and start out strong in 2015

    Bears offense had 216 total yards last week and 257 yards this week. 2-0. I love it

    Assuming that means he will be playing next week. I have a hard time believing Conte will be though.

    I'm pumped that the Bears are 2-1 and have won both games with a big help from the defense. Offense hasn't been as awesome as last year and I have full faith that it will be better as long as our guys are healthy.

    Fuller is a beast. Another INT in the end zone today and I think 2, maybe 3, forced fumbles tonight.

    packers suck. I'm not saying they can't win the game, especially with half the Bears team crippled but I feel good about the game
