Not attacking David or anyone that posts these, I just want to bitch about how shitty 2010 was when I spent 2 weeks glued to RealGM for updates before learning that all those reports were rubbish.

So England needs a win, probably by multiple goals, a Costa Rica loss to Italy, a Uruguay loss to an Italian team that will only care about getting 1 point.

Thib's teams offensive ratings each season: 11th 5th 23rd (no Rose) 28th (no Rose, Bellineli, Nate Robinson, Deng, etc) http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CHI/2011.html 11th best offensive rating for a team that started Keith Bogans at SG and gave big minutes to Taj (pre-offensive improvement), Ronnie Brewer, Omer Asik and Kurt Thomas http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CHI/2012.html 5th best offensive rating despite their only shot creator missing over half the season. Imagine how they would be with a second elite scorer in the lineup.

I just think its silly to drop him so much for 2.5 months of mostly mediocre play. He still dominated a pitching dominated league as one of the youngest kids at the level. Sometimes prospects go through rough stretches in the development process. I still believe Javy has the highest upside in the organization especially when you consider position. Yes his floor is much lower than Bryants, but not low enough to boot him below a player like Alcantara. He should be number 2. -
good stuff. I also enjoyed when the NY Times published an article 3 days before 2010 FA saying "Lebron to the Bulls is a done deal" Meaning, that's great to hear but I'll believe it when Melo is holding up a Bulls jersey at a presser.

How funny would the Spain-Australia match be if Spain loses today? An eliminated Spain would either destroy Australia in anger or just completely give up/play reserves and lose to complete their World Cup embarassment.

All college hitters in short season ball hit 5 HRs in their first 24 PAs. We would have been disappointed at anything less. -
