  1. ok ok dumb question. Obviously we'd be thrilled. Was mostly just pointing out how similar their Iowa numbers were.
  2. I bet he got canned for being too meatbally for meatball TV and let him save face
  3. Good to have Pat back as well. Sick of hearing Judd Sirrott when I am driving around listening to the game on the radio.
  4. Was just looking at Rizzo's minor league numbers for some reason, and realized that his and Bryant's sample size at Iowa is very similar (Rizzo in 2012 and Bryant in 2014). They were also both 22 at the level, with Rizzo obviously having significantly more minor league pas (~1900 vs ~700) due to being drafted out of HS. Rizzo 2012 at Iowa - 70 G, 284 PA, 18 2B, 2 3B, 23 HR, 62 RBI, 23 BB, 52 K, .342/.405/.696/1.101 Bryant 2014 at Iowa - 70 G, 297 PA, 14 2B, 1 3B, 21 HR, 52 RBI, 43 BB, 85 K, .295/.418/.619/1.036 If anything I guess Rizzo's numbers look a little better, but they are very similar. Also possibly relevant is that Rizzo's numbers were from April - July whereas Bryant's were June - September, and this was Bryant's first full minor league season and he definitely tailed off a bit later in the year. Would everyone be happy if Bryant turned into a RH Rizzo in the OF?
  5. Not really. I wouldn't expect him back even though he seems to really want to come back for some reason. because he wants to complete Voltron with Rizzo, Javy, Soler and Alcantara
  6. damn it i completely forgot to listen replayed in its entirety at 5
  7. I confused his skinny ass for Shea on a couple plays and was sarcastically commenting on his play quite a bit. I'm glad I'm not the only one that did this. Especially on the play where Kaepernick first got by Vereen and then danced by Allen. I thought for sure that was Shea.
  8. better late than never: 49ers misery porn This one is actually from the blog writer, not the comments: From the comments:
  9. If anyone is curious, this is how PFF gives out their grades: https://www.profootballfocus.com/about/grading/
  10. uuhhhh they had Houston as our second best defensive player week one I stand corrected, I completely forgot that.
  11. omfg, come on Castro get your ass back in there for the sexiest lineup of pure sex ever.
  12. Also De La Puente is apparently the highest rated Center in the NFL so far this year.
  13. So they have Allen and Houston as terrible again. Forte was the 3rd worst RB to play 10 snaps yesterday, Mills and Ola were terrible. De La Puente, Bushrod and Long were good. Cutty was average. Peanut, Conte and Ratliff were having great games before going down, McCray and Fuller stepped up to replace Peanut and Conte, the backups at DT didn't.
  14. Thanks for the new avatar :)
  15. Hub is on the score and *shockingly* is down on the Bears. Biggest gripe seems to be that they didn't play 60 minutes and the loss was more about the 49ers playing shitty than the Bears playing well.
  16. He wasn't charged? He was arrested and released on bail. Whats the difference between what the media is reporting as being charged with child abuse, and "formally" being charged?
  17. Do you have any proof of that? I am trying to remember the Bears previous back to back night time games. These are the ones I can think off of the top of my head 2012: Bears lose at home against Houston on SNF, Bears lose in San Francisco on MNF 2011: Bears lose in Detroit on MNF, Bears win at home against Minnesota on SNF 2010: Bears win at home against Green Bay on MNF, Bears lose in New York (Giants) on SNF 2009: Bears lose in San Francisco on TNF, Bears lose at home against Philadelphia on SNF 2008: Bears win at home against New Orleans on TNF, Bears win at home against GB on MNF
  18. Could be wrong but I think he picks the Bears every week....or at least in weeks where everyone picks against the Bears, because I've seen this type of thing before.
  19. PFF's Bears/Niners ReFo (Bears tidbits only) https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2014/09/15/refo-bears-49ers-week-2/
  20. thanks. still think it will ultimately be oduya that goes.
  21. So training camp opens on (I believe) Friday...the Hawks are still ~$2 million over the cap for next year. When do the Hawks need to be under? Before the season? or before camp?
  22. Let's get this train rolling. Jets won over a close game at home over a crappy Oakland team, then went into Lambeau, looked great in getting a 21-3 lead then blew it and lost because Marty Mornhinweg had the second biggest blunder of his career. So who knows what to expect out of this Jets team. Since we're all riding the optimism train now, I'll go with a Bears W 30-21 Bears
  23. Meanwhile my team has to play four Top 10 teams in a five week span. that's because everyone in the SEC is given a top 10 ranking by virtue of being an SEC team.
  24. ill find some choice quotes if i get time today. Overall they were just bitching about Harbaugh and Kaepernick
