    Man I just can't see the Bears beating the 49ers at all. I just can't. The last time we played them, they completely embarrassed us on national TV. I know they've looked pretty mortal in the preseason, but I just see them Harbaugh completely outcoaching Turner, and having Kaepernick toy with us as he scrambles for first down after first down. I see their defense getting pressure on Cutler enough to make him go into his infamous shell. Of course I'm a negative [expletive] so its no surprise that I can only visualize us losing. I hope I'm wrong!!

    You can all hate on me. I think the Bears struggle in this one but ultimately get the win. Everyone panics when we get blown out by SF, but everything is ok and we end up going 10-6. Bears 27 Bills 23 Cutty 17-30, 255 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT Forte 115 yards, 2 TD

    I give today a 5/10 for the big league Cubs Bad: Blowout loss, Arrieta had a very poor start, Baez was 0-4 (but only struck out twice) Good: Soler 2-4 with an RBI and double, Castro 2-4 with run scored, Alcantara with a walk and a SF

    where the hell do you come up with these things i heard len talk about our record against the reds the last 2 years and then looked it up. plus my in-laws are all Reds fans so that's what i hear about when I'm in Cincinnati.

    Did you know the Cubs are 1-12-2 in their last 15 series against the Reds dating back to 2011? I want to win this one just because of that.

    What's the read here? Stable as in embarrassing 2014 85M payroll stable, or stable as in we held back money this year embarrassing 100M payroll stable? Good question. If its the former that's obviously very disappointing but at least we can count on spending from Soriano's contract coming off the books?

    When asked about payroll level next year, he said something about "if you look back a couple of years ago with regards to payroll" and then mentioned he expected a big jump when new revenue streams are in place. Someone correct me if I got information wrong, I'm half listening while I'm working.

    I see no way we spend that kind of money Really? Goony brings up a good point on the IFA's, but Kiley has kind of brought it up already, so I think it's a distinct possibility. Or using it as the posting fee for Maeda. But a signing of Lester or Scherzer and one of Markakis or Martin basically spends the vast majority of 40-45 mill as it is. You think our payroll for next year is going to be ~$170 million? (55m commit, 100 mil added, ~15 mil rollover savings from Tanaka)?
