  1. DONT FORGET THE FOURTH PHASE!!
  2. Bears starting D 9 possessions against Jags and Seahawks first team offense: FG FG TD Punt FG TD TD TD TD Some were on short field but damn
  3. [expletive] i guess I'm profiling. I thought I remember Geno being a running QB in college, and I thought I remember seeing Manuel keeping plays alive with his feet last year They are mobile but not really runners. Rodgers is more mobile imo. Well that's the point right? They can keep plays alive with their feet Again, I'm not even beginning to suggest they are anywhere near as talented as Wilson, but the original point was the Bears D was struggling because Wilson was keeping plays alive with his feet.
  4. We have great ST and D for a decade but shitty offense. We fire Lovie and lose ST coach, hire an offensive coach then have shitty ST and D but great offense. So Bears.
  5. [expletive] i guess I'm profiling. I thought I remember Geno being a running QB in college, and I thought I remember seeing Manuel keeping plays alive with his feet last year
  6. im not sure you do
  7. Bears D on pace to give up ~581 yards in this game
  8. 4 of the first 5 QBs we play are EJ Manuel, Colin Kaepernick, Geno Smith, and Cam Newton. The other QB is Aaron Rodgers Not that players like Manuel or Smith are anywhere near Russell Wilson in talent but they are QBs that can make things happen with their feet.
  9. Oh, come on. yeah seriously, sometimes he gets hurt twice
  10. i know im horrible, i cant help it
  11. no the special teams is worse and we dont have McCown when Cutler goes down.
  12. Bears starting defense has allowed the opponent to score on 6 of 7 possessions the last 2 games.
  13. I know better than to take too much from preseason games but I can't help but feel a lot less excited for the season every time I watch the defense. I think I'm maybe just a meatball fan and I can't seem to stop it.
  14. Can we fire Mel Tucker mid-preseason game? There's going to be a lot of fun 40-37 type games this year.
  15. Is it just me or does Briggs look a little hefty?
  16. Really glad we don't have to play Seattle in the regular season.
  17. Wow I don't even care if Jeffery didn't catch that, that was awesome. Offense looked really good there, other then Cutler having a few oddly off throws.
  18. Special teams continues to fail. Sorry for being overly negative (kinda my thing) but its the same issues we've seen all 3 weeks
  19. Just the preseason but the defense looked terrible
  20. Absolutely no pressure on 2 straight 3rd downs, easy 20+ yard passes on both. Just like last year and just like last week
  21. It's in a different forum, kind of like how our Game Threads are in a seperate area
  22. Hahaha, 2nd to last in the NL in OBP (.298), most strikeouts in the NL, 10th in the NL in walks
  23. man that damn game thread is awful. I almost forgot what it was like reading the thoughts of people who are extremely emotionally invested in each individual game.
