  1. Kane has missed 18 games the last 2 seasons. The Hawks have been shut out in 6 of those games.
  2. Well that was a mostly terrible performance and we managed a point out of it. Offense looks terrible the past couple of games. I get that Kane is a major blow to miss and I know we're getting a new piece acclimated to the team, but I expect better.
  3. Bickell and Desjardins healthy scratches in favor of Carcillo and Nordstrom?
  4. Only Spring Training but 3 Javy Ks today
  5. First game on 780 today.
  6. I guess this is not too crazy because it was 8 years ago which is a lifetime in the NFL but with Briggs gone, and I'm assuming Tillman gone, the only members of the 2006 Bears remaining are Gould and Garza. I'm guessing Garza is safe next year because the old administration signed him to a 1 year extension but I'm guessing next year is his last. Gould I could see being cut if Pace and Fox don't want to spend top dollar on a kicker. Just kind of weird that all those great Bears on the 2006 defense, Briggs, Urlacher, Harris, Brown, Tillman all gone.
  7. Yes especially with the Wild nipping at our heels.
  8. Drago? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/33/Lundgren_Ivan_Drago.jpg
  9. I agree with the overall sentiment that his value will only go down but he's not that old, he's turning 31 in a couple of weeks. It's not like he's a receiver that uses speed to make things happen. I can see him slowly morphing into a crafty possession receiver similar to the end of Muhsin Muhammad's career. And how is he injured other than the rib and ankle injuries that will be healed by training camp?
  10. Ha true! I met him and Boers last fall at Bannerman's in Bartlett during one of their shows leading up to the Bears-Jets MNF game. He is every bit the jerk in person as he is on the radio. Insulting people in the audience just like he does with the callers. Although maybe the people in the audience are as stupid as his callers? He and Boers were out the door the second the show ended. I like Bernstein most of the time, but when he goes off on meatball tangents like this he's annoying. He's definitely a guy you either love or hate.
  11. If anyone was wondering, June 11th was the first game that the Cubs offered bleacher tickets for purchase today.
  12. It makes sense to me...it was pretty obvious that the Bears were going to cut him if they couldn't find someone to trade for him.
  13. Where have a read a tweet similar to this before...
  14. Reggie Wayne and Percy Harvin are on the market!
  15. I know Brandon would be very productive if he was coming back, I would have preferred to keep him but I'm willing to give Pace the benefit of doubt for now that Marshall really was a net negative to the team. Apparently he had already pissed off Pace twice since he took over as GM...of course this is according to Bernstein who has led the drive to aggressively get Marshall out of town from day 1.
  16. Damn Now you can make your smug tweet Bernsie.
  17. Do you have 100 tabs open? I did...got through on like 20 of them right away...searched for 1 ticket best available on opening night and there was nothing. Oh well, I'm gonna head down there and try to buy tickets at a reasonable price, and if not will go to the bar.
  18. I can't believe after all these years the Cubs still use this virtual waiting room system. It's like the exact same process as it was in 2004.
  19. I agree with this. I've been burned in the past holding onto tickets thinking the demand would go up. In 2007 I snagged 4 tickets to game 3 of the World Series intending to sell them. The day after I bought them someone offered me $4000 for them (they collectively cost me $1000 total). I declined thinking the demand would go up before the game. The day before the game I couldn't even field an offer for $3000. I started looking into flights to Denver to go to the game but instead caved and sold them for $2500. Sell now
  20. That was fun. Very very fun. I know Moore can't play PG for 20+ minutes a night but hopefully he cuts into Hinrichs minutes ASAP
