I'm not sure it would necessarily be a bad thing. Just seems like we're not going to catch them. we're freaking 2.5 games behind them and they aren't some unbeatable juggernaut.
If that game were next week, we have to start Arrieta against Cole....not Lester. Right? Yes...and will be twice as awkward when Hammel starts game 1 against St Louis
Looking at OPS stats for June, not as bad as I thought... Schwarbs .982 Rizzo .891 Coghlan .886 Bryant .805 Baxter .756 Denorfia .712 Montero .689 Lake .683 Szczur .667 Fowler .641 Castro .628 Russell .600 Ross .564 Herrera .444 Soler .000 (4 AB)
There was an article saying Maddon wanted to work in some rest for Russell and Bryant. Russell was last night, Bryant today. Either that or Bryant has been sent to the minor leagues because of his struggles.
I just hope they get more 3 point shooting. They definitely need another shooter even if Dougie pans out. In today's NBA you can't build a team that's 28th in 3 point shooting and expect to win a title imo And they already lost Brooks who was their best 3 point shooter percentage wise last yaar
They can both stand on the bag as long as they'd like. It's only an out when one is tagged while both are on the base. Murphy was never tagged while Tejada was on the bag. By the time he was tagged he was technically the only baserunner since Tejada is automatically out when (reverse) passing Murphy
Again both runners have to be on the base when tagged for one to be out. But Tejada runs past Murphy making him automatically out with Murphy safely standing on third. That should be correct
