i didnt say it was a worse than old comiskey. just that it is average when compared to other modern parks where the world still reveres wrigley as a crown jewel of MLB parks. The point was trying to paint the massive inferiority complex many Sox fans seem to have toward the Cubs.

I don't blame them. They are dwarfed in popularity in their own city and nationally, constantly pitted in a yuppies vs. blue collar stereotype battle even though its not really true, their old historic ballpark was less revered and then torn down and replaced by a mediocre park. But one thing they still have over us is that one lone championship. If they lose that they will have nothing.

I feel like people in Chicago do this with names a lot, and I base this entirely on my mom and the occasional sports talk radio call-in nonsense I've heard. Adding an 's' to the end of a proper noun is definitely a distinctive Chicago thing.
