If you think he was bad today because of BABIP I have a bridge to sell you obviously didnt say that, but the grounders that have squeaked through the infield havent helped him

Hendricks with a 6.07 ERA his last 5 starts including today (with potentially one more ER on first base) The people who wanted the Cubs to do more at the deadline are looking pretty good right now. I'm sure Hendricks won't be this bad the rest of the year but Hendricks/Haren looks pretty shaky at the end of the rotation, and then you consider that Hammel has for some reason been pulled strangely early each of his last 2 starts.

i didnt say it was a worse than old comiskey. just that it is average when compared to other modern parks where the world still reveres wrigley as a crown jewel of MLB parks. The point was trying to paint the massive inferiority complex many Sox fans seem to have toward the Cubs.

I don't blame them. They are dwarfed in popularity in their own city and nationally, constantly pitted in a yuppies vs. blue collar stereotype battle even though its not really true, their old historic ballpark was less revered and then torn down and replaced by a mediocre park. But one thing they still have over us is that one lone championship. If they lose that they will have nothing.
