    wow bold prediction there. 2nd in home runs among rookies, 1st in runs, 1st in rbi, 3rd in stolen bases, 1st in obp, 2nd in wOBA, easily 1st in WAR. My point was there was a time not too long ago that Duffy, Pederson, and Kang were all clearly ahead of him. Credit to KB. Clearly? I'm pretty sure KB was beating them all in WAR even at his worst point

    He's been very streaky this year. Either a monster or sucks. Actually coming into today his triple slash numbers were almost identical to last years numbers in 11 less games. So he's basically been the same player as last year I guess.

    Coming into tonight they were 2nd behind the Pirates. Pirates allowed 118, Cubs 113, next team at 93

    If the Cardinals go 15-16 the rest of the way, the Cubs would need to go 26-6 just to force a one game playoff. And this is assuming the Pirates don't pass them which they would. Are you extremely dense or did you not read his post before responding

    You know when I kept posting those "giants record if the Cubs go .500" things, I was posting it in a "not like this is going to happen but.." way not in a "have to win 6 straight games to be at .500 over our last 14 games" way

    Yeah something about scoring 2 runs or less in 5 of our last 6 games, enroute to 6 of 7 and the one game we scored more than 2 runs we lost by 7 runs is kind of angering. I thought the Cubs turned the corner in August and the young hitters were figuring stuff out, but it's starting to look like we're just streaky as [expletive]. Rizzo couldn't hit his way out of a paper bag for 5 weeks then all the sudden he's on fire for 3 weeks and now has been terrible again for 2 weeks. Bryant was anemic in July and awesome in August, etc
