  1. We just rolling with this same thread? [tweet] [/tweet]
  2. That has to be the largest gap between amount paid and actual value ever right?
  3. seriously. Christ people were throwing fits for taking Lester out two days ago and now he complains about leaving Arrieta in. Don't overextend him, but there's no harm in running him back out there to at least start the 8th. I had no problem pulling Lester. It's complete foresight to the people who had a problem with that. you mean hindsight? You're burying the lede; of course he had no problem with Lester being pulled because it gave the Cardinals a better chance to come back. yessss this
  4. His era is now under 2 but still rounded up to 2
  5. come on 1.2 more innings of scoreless ball and that ERA goes under 2
  6. I love that we are going to have difficult decisions for playing time in the playoffs
  7. Think you pulled the "call out the overreaction trigger" a bit early. I know it's fun to laugh at the people who make stupid comments but I've seen you call out some iffy comments multiple times. No that's pretty ridiculous and an easy call out. lol ok? How is saying (rephrased) "I hope the offense doesn't continue sucking like this, because Jake doesn't deserve a 1-0 loss" any sort of controversial statement The overreacts that are good to call out are the ones that are obviously emotional responses to bad play. Mine was a lazy "stream of consciousness" post in a game I don't care about all that much. nah bukie is right Case closed the mighty bukie hath spoken. I now plan to go back to dispensing the insults rather than absorbing them.
  8. Woo hoo. Third time around the order is the charm

  11. Come on we cannot get shut down like this. Jake doesn't deserve a 1-0 loss
  12. Who is this guy and why is he shutting us down? Also everyone is swinging at junk
  13. [tweet]https://twitter.com/carriemuskat/status/642421609836507136[/tweet]
  14. Soler is apparently playing for Myrtle Beach tonight
  15. Versteeg had a great final but I am all for this move.
  16. Rank the fan bases in order from awful to most awful. Patriots Cardinals Packers Alabama Football Ohio State Football Since I probably spend too large of a portion of my life trying to determine which one I hate more among 3 of those teams, I don't think I'm qualified to answer as I'm way too biased. Fake Edit: JK it's definitely the Cardinals #1
  17. The funny thing is, I bet when all this Pats cheating stuff came out in 2007 and again last year, everyone outside of New England was celebrating that those annoying fucks get taken down a peg when in all reality, it just made them more annoying and insufferable. I realize this while checking my facebook feed this morning and seeing posts like this:
  18. Perhaps this is my answer: [tweet] [/tweet]
  19. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/9/4/9261761/what-if-your-team-had-suffered-the-same-offseason-fate-as-the-niners This is awesome except most of the people the Bears would have lost actually were lost
  20. Step 4: Get MLB to retroactively deem all Cubs-Cardinals games this year to be final after 7 innings.
  21. Yes this seems weird especially because we'd probably need to sweep the series to have any shot at the division. But I'm starting to wonder if Maddon is more concerned with catching the Pirates given his decision to move the spot starter to this weekend and again next weekend
  22. So because of the off day today and Monday, we still only need 1 spot start, on Tuesday.
  23. I really hope that if/when they start this game there is a really large window. I'd hate to have Jake pitch 3 innings and then another rain delay.
