We get it: You don't like Hendricks. But, he has given us at least 5 innings in 25 of 27 starts this year. He is perfectly fine as a 4th starter. Funny thing is that I don't hate Hendricks, I think if has better command he can be an effective pitcher. I do think a 4th starter on a playoff should do better than averaging 5.2 innings per start though Eh, he's top 70 in baseball in innings per start. That's about 3rd starter caliber. Ok I have to admit being wrong here then. I would have assumed that was rather poor. I probably notice it more because Hendricks, Hammel, and Haren have all struggled to go more than 5 innings lately. Thanks for correcting me
